Hi,here is my entry.
A cool idea is on the way :D
Finally, here is my idea :D I went this time for a stylish 2.0 concept. Lots of white space, clear menues, colorful images, young, professional, technologically advanced. I believe that if a visitor can find all the elements needed for him/her to make a decision a site is well made so I worked a lot on positioning the menues in a way the colours will guide the eye to the title and the links with no interference. The images of young people always give a fresh look to a new identity and complement very well the solid structure of the site.
I placed all the elements of the previous version of the site in a condensed mode. Even the hot deals can be placed using an iframe to hold the information like the announcements did, reducing the need of a big front page that is in the most of the cases of a distracting nature

Hello
I'm start working on my concept

I love this overall concept. The use of orange and the left arrows on the nav are awesome.
I need the header to be tighter though. We always optimize for 800x600 screen resolution just in case and in this, the header will be taking up too much room.
Also, can you move login, contact us, view cart into a mini upper right nav and we'll need Home, Shop by Brand, Wholesale, About Us, Our Customers
in the top navigation.
I love the accessories in the left nav.
We'd like space for specials, hot products, a block of content and a footer section for a footer much like PureMobile (their shopping support, learning center
shop with confidence boxes - we'll have hackersafe) and their bottom nav footer.
Brian
I love how clean this is but nothing is "popping" for me. I'd love to see you add a button for "Buy Now" on the featured products.
I'm also not 100% sold on the header - although I'm glad you didn't go straight to putting people in there. :-)
I need a space for client login and a view cart scenario.
We'd like space for specials, hot products, a block of content and a footer section for a footer much like PureMobile (their shopping support, learning center

Fabian,
I love just about everything except the header image. I feel like the turquoise clashes. Can we tweak that and blend it a bit more? Also, we don't *have* to do a person if you have some other brainstorm.
Also, can you add some buttons to the featured products to incent actions on the customer front. "See More" or "Buy Now" ??
And a button for Search rather than a text link.
I LOVE the big order by phone banner at the bottom.
Also, can we have something to the left of the left nav options with some color to add some balance?
Will
I love how lively this design is.
That being said, we don't want a right nav. Can we have a tighter header image with a more mature feel? These are expensive phones and I don't want to target the youth market.
Also, we don't *have* to do a person/people if you have some other brainstorm.
I would love a grid of 4-6 featured products inserted below the News/Announcements and the Hot Deals.
We need a client login option.
Otherwise I love this.
Very much looking forward to next version.
Aliska
You know I always love your work! We look forward to the submission!
I kept the original idea intact. The elements requested are in place and integrate perfectly with the concept. The design is simple to edit and to migrate if necesary. No forced boxes and a lot of white space. :D

What do you think?

Hi Guys,
The client is insistent that we not depict specific phones in the home page header since the technology goes out of date so quickly they would quickly become obsolete.
So - I guess that leaves us with people talking on cell phones etc. People traveling with cell phones etc. Worldwide images and the like.
These phones are pricey, so whatever you choose needs to appeal to a demographic that can afford them - professionals, technology lovers, world travelers...
Thanks!!
Blair

 Not sure if I understand this statement correctly.Do you want images of people talking on cells for the header?

Fabian,
I need you guys to be creative. He doesn't want specific cell phones in the header because he's afraid it will look dated too quickly as the technology is ever changing.
We need imagery that helps the user understand this is a cell phone website, but if we can also help people understand these are cellphones that can be used worldwide, so much the better,
Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Blair

Thanks Blair,
I would like to run something a little bit different past you. It's a lifestyle image with a digital world behind her.
Most stock images with cells in them tend to draw the eye to the phone, which could become outdated very soon.
Very interested in your thoughts on this :)
Cheers

Will,
Right now you have the leading design.
We are still not 100% on the banner. Maybe multiple cell phone designs would be ok, as long as they are generic enough. We just want it to look really slick and it still doesn't feel like it matches the rest of the design.
Can you change News/Announcements to New Releases?
We'd also like to play up their three selling points:
*100% Satisfaction
*Fast Shipping
*GSM Unlocked
Thank you!
Blair
Hi, Blair, I will work on the changes soon.
What do you think about the banner in Message #9 ? The phones are pretty modern and generic and the image is fresh and stylish.

Will,
Yes - let's use the banner from #9. We need these changes ASAP - we really need to wrap this one!!!
Thanks,
Blair

Will,
The banner continues to torture us. I'm attaching some stock photography that we'll buy if one of the concepts works. Can you mess with them and see if they might work out in some way?
We also need to tweak the call to action. The client wants to highlight the following:
100% Satisfaction
Same Day Shipping Guaranteed
GSM Unlocked
Guaranteed Live Stock
We'd like 7 lines of phones, 3 across with slightly larger thumbnails.
The 7 lines of phone should be segmented in the following manner:
The first three lines should be under the heading "New Releases"
The next two lines should be under a heading for "Best Sellers"
The last two lines should be under the heading "Weekly Specials"
Thank you!
Blair
Not a problem. :D
I will work on the changes and come back soon.

Will,
News Release should be New Releases.
Otherwise, looks good - I'll get back to you with more when I hear from the client.
Thanks,
Blair
I modified and uploaded the design on the previous post :D
I'm working for an entry if it's not too late.

Hi Will,
Nav Changes:
I need Login, My Account, View Cart and About Us in a mini top right nav.
We don't need the items and sub total so you can move the navgational buttons into the main nav bar and pop search up above.
Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Blair
Something like this ? Sorry but What I didn't get was what to do with the search box :P
e2solutions

Hi there,
I need you to take the search box and the login box out of the top "nav bar" and put the navigation buttons into that. Move the search box where the "buttons" are now.
I don't need the login boxes at all - just the link.
Thanks,
Blair
Let see how this one goes :D I tried to condense the right side more to avoid having a huge top.
e2solutions
05-18-2007, 10:08 AM
Will, this is closer - but I still need you to move the navigation "buttons"
Home, Products etc. into the grey bar between the logo and the banner.

Hi Will,
We're coming along great - the client is really getting happy.
A couple of things -
Can we incorporate some color into the "Buy Now" and other buttons? They are disappearing on me right now and they should really draw the eye down the page.
Can we incorporate a tiny orange line/grid between the products in the gallery views? Almost as if they were in small boxes just to add some color below the fold and delineate things a bit.
Can you remove the paypal logo from the main banner and add one more line: "Open 24 Hours"
Thanks,
Blair

Hi Will,
Getting really close - don't forget the product grid line..
Thanks,
Blair

Will,
That's great!
One other thing. :-D
Can we do some sort of colorful shading on the three sections we now have of products on the homepage?
Something to differentiate "New Releases" "Best Sellers" etc. so they pop more but without making them garish.
Thanks,
Blair
