Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Fat Kat Cafe'
What type of product or service do you offer?
This is a new concept which is a cafe located in a medical building or high-rise facility that will offer breakfast & lunch (1 hot meal per day, sandwiches, salad bar, etc.) Think Jason's Deli meets Meat + 3.
Consumers will have the ability to place their order online and request a pick-up time or place orders in-house. We are targeting the busy in building professionals that have short break times and really cannot leave the building for lunch.
How long have you been in business?
Opening soon, need logo for business plan and website design
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Provide service to busy professionals and make a little money while doing it
What are your long term goals?
Franchise & Catering
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
We are in the process of creating our business plan and our backers want to see logo, website, menu, etc before reviewing, so ASAP
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Who would you like to add to your audience?
Professionals who enjoy a great meal at a reasonable price who are in a hurry during breakfast and lunch
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Looking for something high end, with fantastic fonts and a cat of course. Maybe something where the cat is really incorporated in the logo, like the tail making the "C" for cafe or something like that. I want to be able to use the cat separately in our web design and on printed materials. So it needs to be recognizable on its own as well like an icon.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Black on tan background - something really clean But I am open to suggestions
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
A cat definitely - not to cartoon like something more artsy and high end
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Luxury, High End
What is your tagline or slogan?
open for suggestions
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Eat here
Where will your new logo be used?
Menus, bags, cups, apparel, Web site, Business Cards, etc.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
In our immediate area it would be powerhouses such as Jason's Deli. There logos are recognizable, and they have a huge reception in our area.
List competitive URLs if possible
What sets you apart from your competitors?
Since we are smaller we can offer a niche market to those located in house and we are allotted a captive audience.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Great Quality Food at Great Price
I am really looking forward to seeing what you can come up with. I am open to anything and will offer construction criticism on any submissions.
