The "other ways to contact Robin" looks out of place without the first part. The first part should be "Call Robin at 866-774-7900"
The direct dial should be first, then the email then skype (smaller) and the aim (smaller)
Robin needs a graphic that represents her, don't you think?
how about something anime, here are some examples from wikipedia:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/49/Elfen_Lied_ep4_Nyuu.jpg
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Bssm4.png
http://www.absoluteanime.com/witch_hunter_robin/robin.jpg
http://www.witchhunterrobin.com/images/color/2.jpg
also the steps to order custom stickers needs to have the #1 circle be CALL 866-774-7900. Make the #1 circle bigger and shiny
Hi, thanx for the feedback. I'll work on the ideas and come back soon :D
About the graphic, do you want a generic manga face to represent Robyn ?

About the graphic, do you want a generic manga face to represent Robyn ?
yes I do want a manga, but it needs to not be offensive to the actual Robin, so no naked manga.
Robin is a really cute late 30s woman, here is a pic for manga reference:
<img src="http://www.stickergiant.com/robin.jpg" border=0 width=300>
Here are the changes :D I made robin based on one of the images you posted but with a hair changed. Hope you like it. I rearrange the elements requested and added more orange.

sweet anime.... awesome
the logo area needs to shrink a bit and the call now tab disappear so that Robin and her contact info can move up.
The nice orange call now text at the top of the page should be changed to:
Custom Stickers - Overnight Printing - 866-774-7900 (Toll Free)
I think I need a place for periphery text links, that I may add, perhaps a area at the bottom for 4 text links
I also think I should call more attention to the fact that most of our custom printed stickers ship in 24hrs..... it is a big selling point for us.
once the design compition is over I may rewrite the "steps" and simplify.
Changes :D

what would it look like if you lose the "call now" tab ans made the silver "logo bar" that the tabs sit on with the logo into a shiny orange like the text link bar at the bottom, and then maybe make the text link bar silver. I just took a class in "colors in consumerism" and orange is a color that make people excited. I love the Robin Anime, would be hard to make her a bit friendlier looking?
Done :D I made robyn manga smile and changed a little the position of the eyes to be more friendly :D

We need an area setup for samples of work we've done. I have a javascript rotator I could implement, but it needs to be worked intot he design.
I could make the samples any size and display them upto 3 of them. I included gang scans in this thread of actual samples of stickers we've done.

The artwork specs can be integrated into the other pages at production time....
Sure, no problem with that :D
Hi, John, sorry to bother you. Is there anything else you want me to
change on the homepage ?

Will you win. I am going on a school outing today with one of my kids, when I get back I can get you started on production.
you have some typos and such, but we'll talk about production later. in the meantime think about how to make the boring tables in the existing website readable and interesting.
I will supplement this project with additional monies to keep you on task to get this site fine tuned and live.
Congratulations Will :)
I have moved this project to the Revisions forum where you can finish up.
Thanx, Lori :D
and great thanx to you John. I will work on the project until you are fully satisfied with the final result :D

I need a folder with a drag and drop website ready to go. the form submits won't work until I tweek thembut you get the idea.
Also there is the option of me giving you ftp access so that you can build and test on a live directory, that way we can get all the form submits to work, ect. Please advise on this point.
1) Grab the existing site (6 pages):
http://www.stickergiant.com/custom_stickers/
and get all the tables and text in as is within your new design.
2) fix header typo, the current image "Customs stickers" should read "Custom Stickers" (case sensitive) We need a SEO bit of text at teh top of the page as well, see the text at the very top of this page: http://www.stickergiant.com/custom_stickers/ ( Bumper Stickers - Funny Stickers - Free Stickers )
This is SEO text, it is enclosed in a <H1> tag, the <H1> tag is altered in css to look small. This method helps search engines determine what the page is about.
the large ungly montage of stickers at the bottom of the pages are junk, don't use them, instead build the "sample sticker rotator" there and I'll give you the javascript.
3) a few other changes coming
Not a problem, I will work on the changes and come back to you :D

Will-
I need a drag and drop directory to replace the current site. OR I can give you FTP access so you can test on the live server. please advise.
1)start by grabbing the six pages that make up the current site:
http://www.stickergiant.com/custom_stickers/
then move the content into your new designs.
2) typo- "Customs stickers" in the head of the design needs to read "Custom Stickers" (case sensitive)
3) new color, I'm checking to see what colors have been discontinued.
4) I need some SEO text inside a H1 tag. Just like at stickergiant.com, use css to make the H1 tag small
5) create a page for the art specs and link to it on the bottom of every page
6) lose the ugly sticker montages and replace them with the "sample stickers we've printed" block you created.
other small reveisions and copy changes are in route, see attached new color swap
Hi, I can provide you with an ftp access for the project. About the rest of the pages, do you want me to slice the main page and make the changes of the next pages over the html or do you want me to create the psds of the design and once approved create the htmls ?
stickergiant
05-22-2007, 05:53 AM
as far as the process, its up to you, if you want to add the step of psd comps and them html, thats fine, I would think you are bright enough and quick enough that that would just waste time since you can make changes to the tml as easily as to the psds.....
what do you think?
what do you want to do?
Hi, sorry but my internet provider was out for the day.
I asked you just in case you need the psd of everything but it's always easy when working with big tables to work directly to the html. Anyway, I will start preparing the pages and then we can go back or forth as it is needed :D
Talk to you soon,
stickergiant
05-22-2007, 08:28 PM
Let's get this done quickly, and behind us. I look forward to starting another project with you.
Hi, I am still working on the pages but they will be ready for tomorrow :D
Hi, John, here is the new site :D Enjoy !! I created a system for the elements and plenty .css for rollovers, tables, colours, fonts... Also added graphic rollovers to the main buttons to give them more style.

6) Email form needs a graphic header of some sort, it should read: Contact Us
7) The "How to order Custom Stickers" navigation graphic needs to become button like and have a nice rollover effect. It should lose the arrow and move aligned right in the top of the frame.
8) In the spot where the "How to order Custom Stickers" element was (top left) please add a strong orange headline that tells the user which tab they are on, (4 color stickers 1&2 color stickers Bumper Stickers, Ink Options and Stock Types) this change affects all 5 sub-pages
9) On the Ink Options page change the green headline to say: Choose Your Ink Colors
10) The orange text graphic in the header that reads "Customs stickers" needs to read "Custom Stickers"
11) Align the type in the header: Custom Stickers, Overnight Printing, 866 774 7900 (Toll Free)
12) In the footer "sample text links" (3 are left unused at this point one was used in step #1 above) put these in:
<a href="http://www.stickergiant.com" target=new>StickerGiant.com</a>
<a href=" http://www.stickergiant.com/blog" target=new>Blog - Webcam</a>
<a href=" http://www.stickergiant.com/custom_stickers" target=new>Custom Sticker Printing</a>
13) privacy link in footer Policy link is here: http://www.stickergiant.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=privacy
14) Site Map, can you make one? one that actually looks like a map? that would be funny.
15) Terms and Conditions, change it to: <a href=" https://signup.cj.com/member/brandedPublisherSignUp.do;jsessionid=abR2-xSLIOff?air_refmerchantid=707177 " target=new>Become an Affiliate</a>
16) Header navigation and rollover effects: (ADDITIONAL DESIGN FEES)
a) The Tabs need a bit of work. The rollover is good. When a user in on a certain page the corresponding tab should have an effect. How about a "back-lit" effect? with light coming out from under it?
b) The StickerGiant "Guy" orb could be so cool, it could be glowing like a one of these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Plasma-lamp_2.jpg
and when you roll over it it could change......
Thanks, John & Robin
Website updated with the latest changes :D (working on the map and logo animation)

Great job Will-
Robin and I will go over this today.
Here is the sitemap fully functional :D

Here is the plasma lamp :D
http://willdesigns.com.ar/stickergiant/
It has no loader right now so it might take a time to load, this will be improved in the final version. I made it so when you rollover the logo it will fade to the lava lamp. Let me know if you like the effect.
The site is up and running :D
