General Information
We are looking for a very clean, smooth, and clear design for a TV Informercial Production Company called D D R T V - Digital Direct Response Television Inc.
Their website is www.DDRTV.com (http://www.ddrtv.com)
They create informercials for various products. As seen on TV type stuff.
Design
1. The colors I am open for suggestions - some blue.
2. The company logo can be a quick custom logo, since it's out of this scope of work, something is better than nothing.
3. I'm envisioning a clean, good use of white space design. The design will be in psd format ready for slicing. 800 x 600.
4. The design must be for a homepage made in HTML and some CSS – we will use Flash or similar for small, animated elements but the site must be a regular design.
6. It needs to be fresh looking, to appease to the direct response crowd.
7. This is going to be a focused website to create leads for the company. So details for them to opt in or contact the company should be prominent.
Structure
The new website needs the following draft structure/button names:
Home
Services
Videos
Team
Contact
Get a Quote
Testimonials
These should be combined with a clear, rich homepage.
Current Associations
We believe that the brand has the following associations at present:
Clean
Clear
Direct
Non-Hypey
That's it. I look forward to seeing the great designs!
Thanks!

If this is not enough information please let me know what you need to get a mockup design going.
Anybody?
hardline,
There are several template contests running right now and it normally takes a few days for ideas to be generated and the designs to be implemented.
It usually takes a couple of days before the first entries are made.

Hello,
I'm interested in this project but could You please provide us with couple of websites You consider good looking.
They don't have be connected to television in any way, just something You'd be pleased with if those designs were yours.
This helps designers understand your taste.
Thank you,
Matude

Here is my entry. Note that the tv with "Qualify Now" can have a small flash animation inside it. I tried to keep the design clean, web 2.00, quick loading.
Looking forward to your response!

Ok I'm back everyone sorry for the delay.
I've attached the logo design for the website. Please use this in the further design. Also attached is a mockup of a layout for the site, please look at this.
- BBB logo on the header
- Boxes on home page directing visitor to take an action (Want a FREE Evaluation?, Why Direct Response?)
- Testimonials
- *** Please expand upon this mockup. More homepage content areas: News, etc...
The designs that have appears so far have too much blue and softness to it. I'd like to see some various different colors to the website. I came across a site that caught my eye:
http://tv-infomercial.com/
Gypsimind:
I think the blue is becoming a little too much and makes the site look weak and soft. This is a stern company and maybe blue may not be the correct color. A darker blue possibly. Instead of the top text nav bar, I'd like to see some tabs or some design making each their own box.
BrianDove:
As I said for Gypsimind's design. I think the blue's make it weak. Please remove the our work links on the right. Please view the attached mockup.
IMPORTANT:
The homepage and theme needs people to take an action. To take a free evaluation, or view the videos, or get a free audio about Direct Response.
I look forward to the new designs. Thanks!

Fabian:
Not exactly the look we are looking for. It looks too whimsical and floaty. I'm thinking instead of round edges, sharp edges, stern feeling when viewed at.
Take a look at the design I uploaded.

An edgier style.
This one uses black to add a nice contrast to the design, as the blue might otherwise over power the page.

Will:
I really like your style from the previous projects. Do you think you can expand on the home page a little bit? Maybe add some news, a place for awards, maybe a client scroll box (left to right "flash" logo's).
Fabian:
I see where you are taking this. The building in the abckground I'm not to fond of and the text needs to be the exact same size. I'm a stickler for symmetry.
Some elements to add:
News, Place for Awards, Client Logo Scroll area either from left to right or something similar to this client logo flash box:
see www.seoinc.com (http://www.seoinc.com) (look on right side where logo's are)
Sure, not a problem, I will post my next update soon :D
Here are the changes. I used logos I picked randomly from google.com to show you the scrolling bar at the bottom. Let me know if I kept it too simple :D

thanking you,

Guys just in case, the logos used in my design were randomly chosen from the internet, not provided by the customer and were to illustrate the character of the content not a statement of fact :D
