We are a start-up company, developing a specialized range of products based on astrological aromatherapy, which involves formulating aromatherapy blends of oils & other spa related products based on astrological zodiac signs.
Our products will be sold in a gift box and we would like you to design this box.

When is the deadline for the final entries before choosing a designer?
Deadline has been extended till Thursday, May 17th.
What should be included in the design?
We need a design for a box which will be used to hold our products. The design needs to incorporate all the signs of the zodiacs. The design would also need to have our brand logo (file attached). The logo should be printed on all 4 sides of the box (see attached picture for reference: logo print on sides. jpg)
Also attached is an Illustrator file for all the Zodiac symbols. The same symbols have also been used on all the individual products. So we would like you to use the same zodiac symbols on the box.
There is also a design pattern with the zodiac symbols, which is a part of the product labels. So you could try using it too. Its optional.
I think the best way to cover all the zodiacs would be to have a zodiac chart on the box, but were not fussy about that. But if you do use this chart, it basically should be a circular chart with all the zodiacs signs and other information about that particular zodiac. I have attached a picture of the chart to give you an idea for your reference.
So in a nutshell, I want a design which represents all the zodiacs, my brand logo and something that represents aromatherapy.

Aromatherapy & spa related products.
How long have you been in business?
Ours is a start up company.
What to do you hope to accomplish with your new design?
It must have an impact on the consumer!! Attract attention. The product will be purchased mostly due to its look and feel.
Audience profile:
Since our products will be sold in spas and luxury hotels, our audience will essentially be the kind of people who enjoy spending the day at spas or traveling professionals staying at hotels. Other than spas and hotels, we will be placing our products in very posh retail shops. And here the audience will be people who have that extra bit to spend on luxury items. We are also targeting impulse buyers.
What type of design would you like?
We are open to all types of different ideas but as a guideline we think the design should have a big impact!! It should make my product stand out!
Do you have any colours in mind?
We have used for colours on the products & their labels. They are as follows:
RED for the fire signs (ARIES, LEO & SAGITTARIUS)
BROWN for the earth signs (TAURUS, VIRGO & CAPRICORN)
BLUE for the water signs (CANCER, SCORPIO & PISCES)
GREEN for the air signs (GEMINI, LIBRA & AQUARIUS)

We have also attached picture of the products for your reference, with their labels in the four colours. So please have a look at the products and see if you can use all the four colours on the box or go for something neutral.

On the product packaging i.e. the box.
What sets you apart from your competitors?
The unique concept of astrological aromatherapy. We will be marketing our products in the Indian market and will be able to penetrate it more easily with this unique and brand new concept.
Additional information:
For the zodiac chart:- We would like you to give the name and/ images of the flowers & plants associated with each zodiac. They are as follows:

Gemini Lemon grass
Cancer Palmarosa
Leo Jasmine
Virgo Lavender
Libra Geranium
Scorpio Patchouli
Sagittarius Rosemary
Capricorn Vertivert
Aquarius Neroli

Back label for product details: We will be sticking a label on the bottom right hand corner of the box, which will hide some of the design. So keep that in mind. The size of the label will be (10cm W X 8cm H) ---- I have just decided to stick a transparent label at the back, so now, it will not hide the design. In fact, just ignore this for now.
The product: Just to give you more information on the product. This will be sold as gift set. It has a shower gel, a body lotion, massage oil, glycerin soap and a face towel. The packaging includes a cardboard box, which will be covered with a paper, and the design will be printed on this paper & then laminated. There will be a plastic blister which will be fixed inside this box and then there will be a plastic lid which will cover the blister.
