I am the youth pastor of a church in Liverpool, NY and we are in desperate need of a logo four our youth group, we need to create a real identity. The logo should include orange as a major color and the name of our group is STUDENT IMPACT. We would really appreciate the help in getting our group the visual recognition it needs to have to truly make an impact on the students of our community.
Thanks,
Chris Szulwach

Hi Chris, I'm sure the design team will be willing to help. Do you have a slogan you would like them to put in the logo or do you just want it to say Student Impact? Also, do you want it in all capital letters?
Thanks for visiting, and welcome to Design Outpost :)

The second logo is great! I am looking for a couple options so we can let the kids pick what their favorite is. I would really like to stay away from any clip art, word art kind of things like the "star-blast" thing on the first logo. All letters must be in caps. I really appreciate you folks!!!

Oops, I realized I put sudden instead of student, I'll change that and edit my post. Probably because it was 2 in the morning when I did it. :)
I'll fix that, sorry.

Hi Chris,
This is my take on the logo. Tell me what you think of it. I can make any changes you need.

Erika, I love the logo but at this point I am looking for something that would have no religious content in it because I want it to be attractive to high school kids that would normally never set foot in a church. The logo needs to be something that will have "pop" without having a religious feel.

Hi and thanks for the opportunity. Here are three logos I came up with. Colors can be changed.

I just decided to add a fourth logo. This is a small variation from the one above. This one doesn't have the background lines behind the people.

Feel free to delete the last post. Forgot the attachment. Tried to edit it but it won't let you add an image in edit mode. Sorry.
Now here's number 3. :)

Can we try some logos in different colors? Let your creativity come out. One type of logo that I would like to see is to have the content within a circle, see younglife.com for their logo to see what I mean. I am just trying to come up with as many different looks as possible for the kids to choose from.
Again, thanks for everything you are doing!!!

Here's another one. When you mentioned changing colors, I wasn't sure if you meant the shade of orange or not. Regardless, this logo's colors can be changed.

Here's the same version with different colors. I'm not sure about these colors though. :)

Thanks again for all of the work Debbie, both options are great, I like the grunge green colors I do think they will appeal to kids, can we try blue in the circle with yellow font?

Debbie, maybe you can try it without the little people also.

Thanks for the new one! We are still in the deciding stages of picking our final logo so I will add it into the mix. PS- right now the contest is down to WWWZONE, Dan, and Debbie. We will make a final decision on February 9, so if you would like to change a logo that you submitted or come up with a new one please do so by the 8th.

Thanks for the hard work everyone!!! It is time to announce the winner!
drumroll please... The winner is WWWZONE, with the very first entry, the orange blob stuff. The teens in our group absolutly loved that one.
Can you email me the original file that the logo was created in? It would be helpful to have in order to make it easier to use on different products (scale it up and down).
Again I thank everyone for their time and effort!!
