Hi Anne,

Beautiful! I'm very impressed.

Thanks for kicking this off for me.

I will be traveling out of town tomorrow afternoon. I hope to post some feedback by Sunday.

Thanks again!

Anne,

The changes I have are very minor.

Right below "Welcome to ColorCombos.com" and to the side of the "This site was built text", add two vertical Google ads.

I need to get permission to use the ColourMod image on the front page. I'll send an email tonight.

In the MEMBER LOGIN area, add a Signup link.

Below the GRAB WEBSITE COLORS area, add a "SPONSORS AREA", similar to what www.techcrunch.com does, but using your style

Change the Copyright line to: "Copyright 2007, Gremillion Consulting, Hosting by Dreamhost"

Add a "Sitemap" link to the Bottom group of links.

There are a few things that I am debating, but haven't decided upon, such as:

1. Whether or not the search box should be closer to the header.
2. Whether or not the footer should have three columns.
3. Whether or not the Combo Library section should have a "More" button.
4. Whether or not there should be a secondary menu line...

Too many decisions...

I can't wait to see the Library page.

Thanks!

Anne,

Thanks for the revisions.

For the front page, please leave the ColourMod image. ( I sent the owner an email asking for permission to use it. I am still waiting on that.) And move the Google Ads underneath the title "Welcome to Color Combos". This will move the text between the Ads and the ColourMod image. We are trying to put the ads in Context.

The library page looks good. I still need to write up the changes for it. For example, I'm not sure how the users would give a Combo a start rating.

Thanks!

Hi Anne,

Please make the following adjustments to the Library page.

1. Above the Search box, put the "Combo Library" title.
2. Below the "Combo Library" title put a sub title, such as "Secondary Title Goes Here".
3. Right below the secondary title, put the Goodle Ads, and along the righthand side put a paragraph of fake (Lipsum) text.
4. Replace the "View with Combo Tester" text with a Magnifying glass icon.
5. Since most of our combos have 6 colors, can we use palettes with 6.
6. Add the Star ratings along side of the name.

Thank You!

So how does this work?

You turn the design into HTML?

If so, go ahead and turn the last front page design into HTML. Please put any CSS into an external file.

I'm hoping that ALL of the text in the design will be TEXT in the HTML. For example, the "Home" "Combo Tester" and "Combo Library" would be text and not an image. We are planning on adding additional tabs in the future. Plus we need the Google bots of the world to be able read all of the text.

The header, side bar and footer should be the same for both layouts. We will be turning it into a template and the only thing that will change is the main content, along with the selected tab.

For the Library page, can you make a version where there is only ONE combination per line instead of two?

Thanks!

Anne,

Do you create CSS based layouts? I'm thinking about having JUST the front page converted to a CSS based layout. How much is the charge for this?

Thanks!

Anne

Most of it is in css but I am using tables a few places because my skills in tableless designs is not good enough to make a perfect result.

The style sheet will be in an external file and all text (including the navigation) will be in css as well.

Hi

Here is the revision for the library page.

I have also finished coding the homepage so if you have an e-mail address where I can send it for review that would be great. I can also upload the files and give you a link for downloading it if you prefer that.
