Hello, I'm looking for some help putting together a business card magnet based on the specifications found HERE (http://www.printingautomation.com/studio/studioupload.bkk?sel_typeproduct=pricingbcmagnets2 x35&sel_companyid=joshb).

I'd like to include the following elements:

1. Company Logo - with or without tagline. PSD file found HERE (http://www.criterion-advisors.com/design/logo.psd) .

2. My Name, Title, Phone #, and Email Address.

3. Company City and State as well as Web Address.

4. A list of the following Six Questions:

"Is What I'm Working On..."
1: Audience Centric?
2: As Simple As It Could Be?
3: Valuable Enough For All Involved?
4: Real, Authentic & Genuine?
5: Of High Enough Quality?
6: Remarkable In Any Way?

I understand that this is a lot to jam onto a card (that's why I'm asking for help here) and I'd like the 6 questions to take priority over everything else. My contact info is the next most important thing and the logo / company detail is last. I'd like to incorporate all of it but I understand the limitations of a card sized magnet and will work within those.

Looking forward to seeing your layouts.

Thanks, -Adam

Hello, welcome to Design Outpost.

Would you please put the information of your Name, Title, Phone # and Email Address? So the designers can put that on their proposals/designs.

Will this just be plain background? or do you have any image to be used on the design?

Thanks! Good luck!

-Pieter

hello again..
here is my proposal.. :)

i tried to put all things together.. the company and contact info are important so i put them properly.. while the 6-lines are still dominant.. :)

Thanks, Bogglins for a good start. Here are my comments:

1. I'd like to maintain a more traditional business card look overall. So, less drop shadow, gradient backgrounds, etc... My preference is towards simple and crisp designs.

2. The 6 questions have to be a bigger focus. To that end, we can drop the "involved" from q3 to save some space and allow for a bigger font.

3. The logo seems tiny when turned sideways. Not sure if this would work horizontal or if this is just a limitation that we have to deal with. I'm open to suggestions here for sure.

4. I can live without the "Criterion Advisors, Boulder, Colorado www.criterion-advisors.com" info if that clears up more space. Again, a good looking presentation of the questions is the priority.

Thanks, -Adam

Thanks, Jeff - I like your layout a lot.

Could I see a few changes?

1: Change the title and the formating to:

The Tough Questions:
1) Is this Audience Centric?
2) ...as Simple as it could be?
3) ...Valuable enough for all?
4) ...Real, Authentic & Genuine?
5) ...of high enough Quality?
6) ...Remarkable in any way?

2: Is it possible to have a font for the text on the left that is a touch bigger and more modern looking? Perhaps similar in style to the fonts used in the logo and tagline.

Thanks, -Adam

Looking good, Jeff. A few more quick edits and we're there.

1) Can you lose the italics on "The Tough Questions" and center it as more of a heading / title? I'll leave it up to you as to the best size for it.

2) I liked the first text more than the revision. Is there a way to split the difference on both size and style?

3) Can you show me a version with the above changes with the logo the same size and then one with the logo a little bit bigger?

Thanks, -Adam

Ahhh... Now I feel terrible - bogglins, you came back strong and captured everything that I was looking for... Let me see a version without the gray stripe on the bottom and I think that we have it.

jeff797 - email me offline and I'll swing you a few bucks via paypal for the effort.

This process has been great. Thanks, -Adam

That's great, bogglins - you win. Let's go with the design in your last post. Can you show me one more layout in revisions with the red section a little bit bigger and the question font a little bit bigger as well? We'll probably stay with this one but I just want to check it out before we print it.

Thanks everyone else for participating - I'm sure I'll be back with bigger projects down the road.
