I have a blog at www.howtogetbusinessideas.com. The blog will be about creativity, with a particular focus on generating business ideas and recognizing good business opportunities.

Blog Name: How to Get Business Ideas

Company Profile: The site is focused on posts, information, and resources that help entrepreneurs find and generate better business ideas.

Design Project Description: The logo needs to fill in the existing header space on the site (500x140). It should first and foremost represent ideas and creativity. If you can add something to reflect business or wealth, that could be good too. The words How To Get Business Ideas should be part of the image.

How it should look
- modern
- fun, but authoritative
- I don't have a preference for whether it is simple and clean or busy and bold. Try either one.


How it should NOT look:
– like a cartoon or kids logo
- like an ecommerce logo

Words that could be helpful in creating your design (this is what I want people to think of when they see the design and how they should feel about company):
-creative
- research
- intelligent
- business
- useful
- somewhat academic
- modern


Possible colors: Anything that matches the existing site. I don't want to redo the whole template yet. It cannot clash with the yellow "Home" and "About" links that will overlay it. Those will stay.

I like the colors, and I like the way the picture is behind the words, but I'm not crazy about the honeycomb. Can you try something else?

The picture is a stylised speech bubble (blog) mixed with a briefcase handle (business).

Hi Djaka,
I really like the top logo, with the shadow behind it. Can you try something different in the callout box? Maybe a brain or light bulb or some thing that represents thinking and creativity?

I like it. Let's go with that, and start tweaking the colors. Can I see some different color schemes that match http://www.howtogetbusinessideas.com ?

Ignore the header, I was just trying them back when the logo was still open.
