Hi , this is my first time using a design website/ service, so im exited and also anxious about the results. I have already got a beading business www.wishwarebeads.com.au, and have new plans to set up a jewellery website to coincide with this.
Thanks in advance for your help, Louise
Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
WishWare Designer Jewellery
What type of product or service do you offer?
We offer jewellery, and the logo will be used for the cards, relevant catolouges, invoices, and packaging.
How long have you been in business?
I have been in business 3 years
What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
The design needs to be modern, and have a stylish look to it. Ive seen a few designs with beautiful calligraphy work, not elaborate- but simple and flowing.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
As soon as possible, but id say late july at this stage.
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
We normally market jewellery to homewares shops, clothing stores etc. Most of our jewellery is aimed at ladies from 35-60, so a sophisticated look will probably appeal more
Who would you like to add to your audience?
larger companies, and chain stores
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
One that portrays the look of good quality, modern, alternative, yet handmade jewellery. It also needs to look fancy and sophisticated.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
We are open to ideas, but purple- teal is our existing colours for our shop, but i wouldnt mind gold, and black, but im open for new fresh ideas.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
No, but something jewellery or beads related might be an idea to test out.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Just the same, the sophisticated and wuality approach
What is your tag line or slogan?
None
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Where will your new logo be used?
Website, Letterhead, Invoices, Packaging material- tags to be printed with a plain backing, and then have a sepearate peice of clear material, or matte effect with the logo printed ontop to hang together. We would then have on the flip side of the card some information about the designer, and then some information about the product. It would also be used in our catologe.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Not worrying about competitors
Thanks for your time. I hope this is all the info you require, but please let me know if you require more.
Thanks
Louise

Hi Quietzo- thanks for your design, but im looking for a more flowing design with a more sophisticated approach. The crown to me appeals to more a younger audience. I really like the appeal of the fonts and sophisicated look of the work done for julie tauro http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13832
This may give you an idea about the tupes of fonts. Also with the colors we are looking at now more a black/ gold or more traditonal colours
thanks Louise

Hi
Thanks for your submissions, i still think its not as fancy as id like, with the one from tysen, i really think the font of wishware is on its way, but the one from draganb i think it a little too sharp. Im thinking at this moment maybe it would be better to have a small image, maybe a stylized or simplified picture of some of the jewellery we create. Anyway i have decided to post some previous design outpost ideas from different posts to give you an idea of the way im going

undefinedundefined Hi Im exited at the design possibilities that are being created now. I have attached above some photographs of some products from our jewellery range, as i have seen a few designs trying to include simplified jewellery peices, but idont think it really correlates to the type of jewellery we create.
I am thinking at the moment about the tags, and so we are wanting something filligree - calligraphy type that can be printed on clear material and not look to block.
Giant: I like this design, however the colours im looking for are more gold and black at the moment, I do like the simplicity of the design, but i think id like it more filligree.
Blue Cherry Graphics:
V1: I like this design, its more simplistic however im not sure if i like the w on the side.
V2 and 3:
I love version 2, and ive had quite a few comments about version 2, but personally i think id like the wishware part with a more filligree look to it. I do like the w in version 2, but the only comment ive had about the w, is that its maybe a bit too complicated, and the w is repeated in wishware.
I would like to see something like version 2, with a more filligree font for the wishware, but with a stylized and symplified version of the samples of jewellery ive given. The text would also need to be darker and the image to be faded.
Tini1:
Because id like the image to be on a clear peice the back coloured in sections of the two designs i dont think will really work. Im also not to sure about the wishbone image
shnickerdoodle studios:
i like the idea of the ring of jewellery hanging of the 1, ive had a few people say this is a good idea, but id prefer if it was explored a bit more, as i dont really make alot of jewellery like that, maybe a peice of jewellery in the background. Im not sure. The logo would need to be more filligree as well.
Thanks for all your help so far, i am really enjoying this process, and hope to see the new revisions/ideas
thanks Louise

Hi
Thanks for all your help and your submissions. I have decided to extend the deadline to august 6th, as i would like to explore the ideas i mentioned in my previous post a bit more.
Nhr: i like your last design, but its a bit too block and not really filligree enough, but i do like the 3rd version the gold thin one, so maybe if i have the jewellery in the backgound that would be more of what we are looking for
Also titania and splunking, have you come up with anything yet?? and id like to know how the revision/changes i suggested to blue cherry graphics are going
thanks all for your help
regards
Louise :)

Hi
Thanks for all your submissions -
Nhr- i really like the last logo youve submitted. However id like to see the black and white one, but instead of having the writing with the shadow id like the plain gold one in message #24 ( pantone 142c- right hand side, row 2 on the right) that you submitted. Id also like the two beads at the end in gold, with a black shadow. Would you be able to let me know if this is possible. At this point in time id appreciate if this can be done asap.
Thanks Louise
Thank you very much Louise :)

hi nhr
thats great, if i could just get another alteration, id like the one im message #33, but i dont really like the purple tones in the bead section on the right hand side. If i could get the beads in the black/white version, and then maybe have a hint of gold introduced into the bottom coin beads??. Would you be able to let me know if this is possible
thanks
Louise

Hi Nhr
Im very happy with the design now, and would like to go ahead and pick design #37 as our final design. My designer has specified that she would like the file in the format of a php and jpg, so please let me know if this is possible and send the files the the largest dpi thats possible.
As this is the first time that ive used this service, im unsure as to how the files come through. You can personal message me for my email adress and information, but please let me know the next step in the process.
Id like to thank everyone else for their imput, its been greatly appreciated
Thanks
Louise
