Need a logo for my new company.
Company name is Rogue Wave Networks, Inc.

We sell telecommunication and IT networking services, so I'd like something a bit more modern. The imagine of a powerful wave is important to incorporate into the design.

I want to make sure the logo does not infringe upon the TM of roguewave.com (software.)

Another possibility is to incorporate the R in Rogue, making the W a "wave-like" shape and the N in Networks.

There is the possibility of follow-on work for a flash or animated intro as well.

I'm sure there are several with the creative power to capture my attention and...of course...the money associated with the awarded selection.

Thanks for the entry. You are the first to capture the W as a wave. I would like to see the font differently, perhaps a bit thinner. The "Wave" should be a bit cleaner, as I'm afraid that it would not show well in print. Lastly, the full name would look better below the Graphic imprint.

Your design is nice and clean; however, it is too close to an existing trademark www.roguewave.com I'm being very careful about not infringing.

I like your design, but the wave seems a bit fuzzy. I'm worried that it wouldn't scale for a presentation? Also, can you drop the "inc." as it makes the name look too long in comparison to the graphic. Ideal, I was hoping to incorporate the graphic as part of the name. I'll sleep on this design.

Rogue Wave Networks is how it is spelled. You can eliminate the "INC"

Also, I'd like to see one version that is an R W N (with the W being the wave.) I can envision a slim R and N curving aside to make room for the W (Wave.)

Received via PM: "I like that graphic quite a bit. My only concern is that the graphic looks a bit fuzzy? Will this improve for the finals? That concern is about the image being crisp on websites and such?"
