Hi there,

I have an upstart web agancy that is in need of a logo. The concept behind the business name "Margin None" is derived from the CSS term "margin:0;". The are three types of concepts that I would like to see of the logo. All of them should have a web 2.0 feel.

1. I would like to see a distinctive mark made with the letters "M" and "N". The company name "margin none" should be incorporated into the logo.

2. I would like to see a mark like a box from the periodic table of elements. So the mark would have the letters "Mn" in the box. The words "margin none" should also be included in the logo with a tag line. If you have any ideas for the tag line it would some how incorporate how the business is the missing element for other businesses??? Maybe that one needs some help.

3. I would like to see a logo that incorporates either "margin:none" or "m:n" with the words "margin none" in the logo.

If any of this doesn't make sense, just ask and I will try to explain further.

Cheers,
James

Hey Guys,

Great job by all so far. My favorites at this point are the following.

#5 -OffbeatDesign - I like the concept. I am not sure about the font. Can we try a couple different font choices. I would also like to see some different color choices, maybe a deep blue?

#12 & #13 - Logoholik - I like both concepts. I am not sure about the grey for the lettering and the background of the mark. It seems kind of dark. I do like the blue and green however. Now that I have thought about it, I would like to see these logos with a dark background. Maybe something like #003770.

Great effort by all so far. Thank you very much for your creative input. If anyone else would like to throw in their creative talents, I am all eyes.

Best,
James

Hey Guys and Gals,

Thank you for all of your hard work with the concepts listed above. They are all wonderful. I would like to pick logoholik to continue work on his concepts. I will await the move to the revisions forum to post about what I would like updated.

Hey logoholik, I would like to play around with the colors for the logo. I am attaching a screenshot of a web app that we are building current. The colors in the screen shot are ones that I like together. Take a look and let me know what you think. I would preferably like to have a version of the logo on a white background and a version on a dark background.

Thanks,
James

Hey Bojan,

The blue I gave you looks different than the blue in the logo. It looks a bit more purple. Is this because you are using CMYK colors? If so, I would like you to choose a different blue that looks more blue and post it. This is the last issue I have with the logo. Thank you for your patience.

Best,
James

James, i am not sure where i did wrong. I used exact blue color as in your site layout (003770). Please advice.

If the top logo in your last revision (the one on the white background) is using the color I gave you, then I am sorry for not being more specific. My intention was to see how the logo looked inverted on that color. I think that color in the logo with the white background is too dark and I would like it lighter. Sorry again for any confusion.

Hey Bojan,

I like that blue a lot better. Just to make sure, the logo on the white background is the one I will using to print with so I just want to make sure that it is CMYK compliant. If so, package up the files and send them through. I will consider this job complete and thank you for your work.

Best,
James
