The t-shirt design will be for a company that sells adult male supplements (herbal viagra) and I am going to be selling cool t-shirts to try to develop the brand to a younger crowd.

So, first I’d like to get a mascot called Maxx Man, a superhero. He should be blond with blue eyes, muscular, and kind of cartoony but not too much so.

So almost like Mr Incredible of Disney's Incredibles. I’d like his costume colors to match that of the Herbal V Maxx logo (attached in PSD format).

The t-shirt will say “Rock Out With Yer Cock Out” – and it will be Maxx Man holding a Rooster in front of him (as the image).

And as far as him and the cock goes…. I was thinking the Maxx Man would be kind of off to the left, and back, so that he was holding the cock with 2 hands in front of him and almost pushing the cock out at the person looking at the design… so, nearly a 3d look.

Anyway, I am in a bit of a hurry to get Maxx Man created and the first t-shirt design, so I'm hoping to see come cool stuff here soon:)!

here is just a pencil sketch for Herbal Maxx. It would be colored in the slightly 3d look with gradient fills and all of that. Let me know your thoughts.

I really think that looks great!

The only thing I am wondering is if maybe you can rest the rooster in the palm of his hand or something instead? Maybe the Rooster can just be sitting right on his upturned palm?

Just worried that some might think he was choking the animal.

Otherwise, outside of coloring this up and adding the text this is exactly what I was hoping for.

Kelly - thanks for the colored version. Really pops! I'm wondering if you could crop the image at his waist, so that there is more of a closeup of him and the rooster?

With the pencil sketch it was a bigger image so I had more of that closeup feel and really dug that. I think cropping him would help out in that area.

Rongen - thanks for the sketch. I dig the way he is pointing to the rooster with that grin. I'd love to see it in color, and don't have any alterations of the design at this time.

nvoke - Great colors and the rooster especially stands out to me! I'm not sure I like the yellow in the circle behind Maxx Man... can we try something a little softer, or maybe even remove that? Also, on the text, can we drop the callout graphic and just have the text?

Rongen - Very cool addition of the Maxx Man logo which sticks with the product logo theme. 2 things on your design. One, can you make him a little more buff? Not bigger, but use some shading to bring out his pecs and abdominals through the costume? Also, I'm not sure if placement should change but I would like the "Rock out..." text to be more prominent somehow.

Here you go! I went for a more comiclike style mixed a bit with cartoonyness for humor. It's still in its draft state, but once its polished up it'll look very smooth, less dark, and will pop out even more. The rooster staring down at the area below his waist makes you think this guy is a little too confident, in that he may not just be hanging out with his rooster out. That will be made more apparent in the polished version. :D

:D Heya, I was hesitant to post an incomplete design, but didn't want to leave you out of the loop on the work in progress either. I reworked the character just a bit to make it more likable but with the same cocky look. There's still a lot to be done (even on the areas I'm showing you) to make it pop out just a bit more. Ok, sorry for the delay guys. Had some internal discussions about this because there were so many good designs.

I have to tell you that this was a VERY hard decision, and I appreciate all of your work and efforts.

That said, we have decided to go with Rongen's design.

Rongen, please let me know where we go from here - I have a minor modifaction I'd like to make, but am otherwise ready to roll.

Hey Ron,

Great work on this design and congratulations! The only revision I would like to add for this design is if you could put www.HerbalVMaxx.com in the gray bar under "Maxx Man"?

Maybe use the impact font and do a darker gray... I don't want it to overshadow the Maxx Man, but I would like it to to be there.

From there - we're good to go:)
