Hello,
I am in a hurry, and need to have a school logo modified for a volleyball team at Winter Park High School. I will select a design that I like ASAP, so early submissions have an advantage.
A group of Freshman were selected as the entire Junior Varsity team, and they need a T-shirt logo for this season, which is starting next week. It is rare that a team this young is all together.
I want to modify the main school wildcat to look like a young cat or kitten, but with a strong "in your face" attitude around it. The school's colors are orange, white and black, and I have attached the main school wildcat logo. I am open to 2 or 3 color designs in order to get a cool-looking design.
I also want to add some words around the baby cat logo for a T-shirt screen that will go on the back of their team T-shirts. I would like the following two lines to accompany the baby cat:
1. "Killer Instincts, Winning Attitude" (possibly on top of the cat?)
2. Look out, 'cause the Baby Cat Pride has arrived (on the bottom?)
I also need a simple front logo design that has the following lines:
1. Winter Park JV Volleyball
2. The Future is Now
Thanks!

Here is just the look of the cat, I can get on with the text if you like it and give two thumbs up:

Thank you for your design submissions. Neither of these is what I had in mind, so let me try to give some more details to help refine your designs. One require I must have, which I forgot to mention, is that I need the WP hat in the image. The cat can wear it at a different angle, or it can sit on top of a volleyball that is included in the image.
First, I have attached some images of baby wildcats and lions to help give you a better feel for the look and body poses that I think might work. I am open to a full-body cat - one that is sitting or walking, if you need to have that in order to convey that the cat is young, but aggressive. You can have the cat showing its claws, or in a position of attack.
Here are some further ideas that I have that may work for you:
1. A look like the white_tiger_cub_3_months image with a volleyball between the front paws. The hat can go either on the cat's head or on the volleyball. Alternatively the cat can be inside of a background volleyball image.
2. A look like the "baby lion with claws" image with the cat wearing the hat and hitting the ball with his paw. Be sure the claws are out.
3. A cat walking like the one in "baby bobcat 9" with the hat on and the cat inside a background image of a volleyball.
4. A cat in the pose of the "baby bobcat 12" image with his paw on a volleyball. I would want the cat looking forward though, with the hat on his head.
I have included several other bobcat images to try to help you create the facial expressions you may need. I also found an illustration of a volleyball in the paw of a cat that might help.
Thanks and sorry for not being more clear.

Hello, here is a try from me. I used different aspects from several of the pictures you provided. Let me know what you think. Thanks! :)

Kekepania,
This is closer to what I had in mind. Can you make the hat look more like the hat in our main logo (alternating Black and White panels)? I would also like to see it tilted over the left eye so it aligns more with the main logo.

Kekepania,
Sorry for not being clear. The brim of the hat needs to be black, and can you change the white panels to orange? Also, no pink in the WP on the hat - white and orange instead. I am trying to keep this to White, Orange and Black - so no pink in the letters either. I do like the lighter tone of color in the words "Winning Attitude".
Again, this is a good start, but I am concerned about how different the face style is from the original logos look. Maybe make the chin more pointed or add a little more definition? I am not an artist, so am so sorry for not being able to articulate how to tune up the face to be closer to the original logo. I hope you can make some quick changes to help me out.
Another thought is to superimpose the original logo onto your design? I do like the way the hands are holding the ball, so want to keep that concept going.
Thanks!

Hello again, Ok, I took away the pink type and in the hat. I also 'squared' up the jaw and made the chin more pointy to match the school logo. I added some for fur definition, but didn't change it too much for fear of the bobcat no longer looking like a baby. I hope this is closer. :) Thanks for all the feedback.

Bill,
This design is perfect! I would like to go with this, and we are in a big hurry. Can you please send me the final versions that are applicable to a T-shirt screen?
Thank you and thanks to everyone else for your quick submissions.
