It doesn't work in lowercase with the script. The font of the icon and the type doesn't necessarily need to match.

No, because we can't just reuse some other designer's elements.
This is rule and this is ethic.

Hi,
Just to clarify, the designers do not collaborate on designs so the elements among designs are not "interchangeable".
While they are allowed to present a similar color scheme or a similar font type (serif, sans serif, etc.) they cannot copy another designer's concept.
Thanks! :)

OffbeatDesign I love your design but I'm not sure what colors to use. Anny suggestions?
OffbeatDesign
09-15-2007, 07:16 AM
Well, with any design you select you will have the ability to change colors if necessary (in Illustrator or Photoshop). Are you going to redesign your website or keep it the same? You will want to have colors for the logo that work on the website.
If you have a Pantone book and have colors you like I can show you some more options. Thanks.
Roebuckphoto
09-15-2007, 07:20 AM
Thanks. I don't have a Pantone book but I do own CS2. I will prbally keep my site the same. Where can I get a Pantone book from?
OffbeatDesign
09-15-2007, 07:31 AM
Pantone books are expensive. If you go into Illustrator, open a new document and go to Windows>Swatch Libraries> Pantone Solid Coated you'll be able to see the color chips.
Alternatively, you can show me any graphic on the web that have colors you like and I can match it.
Roebuckphoto
09-15-2007, 10:01 PM
I don't have Illustrator just Photoshop CS2
OffbeatDesign
09-16-2007, 06:54 AM
Not sure if this helps. If you want to highlight colors (circle them in Photoshop) I can use them in the design.
OffbeatDesign
09-16-2007, 06:59 AM
You can also just supply CMYK values for the colors you want. Are you going to be printing in Pantone colors at all? If not, we don't need to worry about them and can stick with CMYK values. Here's another Pantone chart that might help (these are different Pantone colors than you would use for printing, but you might find colors you like).
