Hi

I need a logo for a new podcast show that I'm producing, detailed brief is as follows:

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?

LocalGovHRPodcast

What type of product or service do you offer?

The show is an audio podcast with interviews, advice and tips. It is distributed free to HR practitioners in local government in the UK.

How long have you been in business?

A long time - but this show is new.

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?

To distinctly brand the show so that it is easily recognisable as we build up an audience.

What are your long term goals?

To reach every HR team in local government in the UK.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?

Wednesday 19th September.

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience

New show - no existing audience.

Who would you like to add to your audience?

Local government HR practitioneers in the UK - age range mid 20's to 60's, men and women.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?

Quirky but still professional.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

For political party reasons we can't have blue, red or orange - other than that no preference - but we do want colour and ability to work in mono.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

Open to suggestions.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?

Modern, professional, informed, authoritative, interesting.

What is your tagline or slogan?

None.

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

To keep up to date with the latest local government HR issues - listen to the show.

Where will your new logo be used?

On a blog that will host the audio podcast, on business cards, letter heads, print and web banners.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?

None.

List competitive URLs if possible

None.

What sets you apart from your competitors?

We are the first to produce a podcast for this niche audience.

Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:

Innovative.

Hi

Thanks for your work. I like the logo design, but wondered if you could do a couple of tweaks for me?

Could you drop the word podast underneath LocalGovHR and move all the text up slightly?

Could you also please do a version with localgovhrpodcast.co.uk underneath?

Thanks
Jon

Hi

Thanks for the changes - nearly there I think, just a few more 'tweaks' as follows:

1. Move HR up to sit with LocalGov
2. Add .co.uk to the word Podcast (.co.uk to be small font size) and line up with top line
3. Delete localgovhrpodcast.co.uk at bottom

Could I have a colour and mono version please?

I'm away this weekend - will check the amends on Monday and come back to you.

Many thanks

Hello,

I am sorry to miss some of your previous feedback regarding the text. Here are the revisions you requested. I also included some color options excluding the ones you have mentioned. However, if you'd like to see another specific color, just let me know.

Thanks to both designers for your work. I've chosen one of the designs from Blesseville with some minor amends required.

BlueCherryGraphics
Feedback for Jennifer of BlueCherryGraphics - I liked your designs, particularly the use of colour, however I feel that they were a little too busy.

Blesseville
The logo I have chosen is the first logo of version three i.e. the green icon with black text. The amend I require is a second version with the following text - PublicSectorHRPodcast.co.uk - please put HRPodcast.co.uk on the bottom line underneath PublicSector.

I therefore would like two final versions of this logo:
Version 1 - Icon plus LocalGovHRPodcast.co.uk, in green/black and mono.
Version 2 - Icon plus PublicSectorHRPodcast.co.uk, in green/black and mono.

Can you please confirm what file formats I will recieve this in?

Many Thanks
Regards
Jon

Here are the revisions. If they are OK, I'll pack both versions + B&W for each.

I include vector formats (EPS), high resolution JPG, low resolution JPG, and a high resolution PNG with transparent background. If you need another format, please let me know and I will include it in the final package.
