Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to have my logo worked on by you all. My name is Rachel and I need a logo for my new pet business called Trendy Tails. I'll be selling online and also at some shows and shops around town. I carry trendy/upscale products for dogs and cats (mostly dogs). We are going to specialize in products made for the spoiled pet. I'm looking for a logo design that will reflect this image. The logo will be used on the website, which has not been created yet, business cards, and retail tags.
What I'm looking for: Colors I like are black, pink and white, or red, black & white,
& purple/lime green - but I'm open to any combo. I'd like an image of a cat & a dog in the logo - and I prefer the dog to be small & black (like my dog, a ****z tsu/poodle mix) and I'd like the dog and the cat to be wearing a crystal/rhinestone collar, which will be one of our specialty products. I prefer cartoony images, something fun.
I found a website that has a logo I really like: Mu Shu (http://www.mushucanineboutique.com) - maybe that will give you a starting point.
Please let me know if you need additional information or have any questions. I'm not in a rush for this, how about a closing date of Oct 24th.

Thanks Pennyln for your design. The design is great, but I am looking for something more fun or "trendy". The dog is really cute, I like, but the cat I don't (maybe b/c I'm partial to dogs) - but I thought maybe a persian cat (more spoiled looking). And the font is too "boxy" in the word trendy. I'll look through the boards and find some logos I liked from some previous posts - and post them back here. Thanks for your fast response! :)

Creature Comforts logo by kalvinhobs - Topic Starter Enela
Petsitters Unlimited logo by westiswest - Topic Starter Kirsten
I also like big dog & miss kitti's pet sitting service logo by Julie. I like the dog in this one. Topic starter Mz Kitti - from July 8th.
Hope this helps a little!

Rachel,
Here just a really quick try--I still need to add a cat, but is this style something you'd like to see more of?

Yes, Julie, very close. I like the collar and the sparkle. I like the "Trendy" Font also. I'd like to incorporate the animals tails if possible and maybe use a barette on the dog's head?
Bill,
I liked your first logo better - the animals in the 2nd one look mean and wicked. I really like the dog in your first one and I like how you incorporated their tails together.
Thanks everyone!!

I hope it is ok to comment, but I love the way that dog is having to check it's tail yet the cat is just so confident that it doesn't have to look.. nice!

Looks good Julie,
A couple of comments: Can you change the dog up a little to look less like a poodle? A ****z tsu look is more appealing to me. The cat looks great, and I love the collars and the "Trendy" font. Also, can you play around a little with the word "Tails". I'm not too crazy about the font there. And, I'm curious to see what the animals would look like on a bed, maybe with some feathers or embellishments around it? We're going to be selling beds with that look. Could you replace the black box with the word "Trendy" with the bed? Thanks for your great work!
I 've got to be honest but when I think of upscale doggy stuff (which is quite often) when it comes to dogs I think about the poodle. I really love that design and those colors. I think Julie did a remarkable job just like she did for us. That is just my opinion.

Hope you get T-shirts made so I can buy one.

Thanks, Dee! I appreciate the compliment :)
And, Rachel, I'll do my best to make your changes, but I probably won't be able to get around to it until Wednesday night. I'm busy with all sorts of stuff, not the least of which is guarding my precious yard from maurauding teens with toilet paper. Aahhhh. Homecoming week in a small town.

Hi Julie,
I apologize, I don't think I was too clear on my last post to you regarding the changes. I really feel bad, and hope you don't give up on me because I really like this design!
Okay, here is what I would like more specifically:
Delete the bed, I was trying to incorporate the look of a doggy bed or pillow, but let's revert back to the black box in the previous post. Add the word Tails back, also, but with a different font than previous. I like the dog much better. Can you make the dog face or ears a little more prominent or try to differentiate the two? Also, can you incorporate a paw print someplace on the logo? Thanks for your patience and all your hard work!

Hi, Rachel!
Don't worry about the changes--I had actually forgot about putting the tails part on in my hurry to post last night. Sorry about that.
Here's the revision with a paw print. How do you like the font?

Julie, I love the font and the paw print. Everything except the dog. Now, the ears look like a wig placed on top of the dogs head. Can you change the dog to look similar to the one Bill posted earlier in the contest? The black & white one? But make it more cartoony? Also, did you look at the MuShu dog in my original post (I included a link). I'm definintely going to pick your logo, just want to get the dog juuussstt right!

The dog is just not working for me. Any suggestions? I like the dog in the Ms Kittis logo you did. The grey in the face doesn't appeal to me or the ears. Let me know what I can do to help!

Here's an idea--I had been going for the silhouette look, but these lines help define the dogger. Is this closer?

Julie, sorry it took so long to respond. I've been out of town. Can you change the dog? The dog's okay, just not too happy with the ears/face. I really want to wrap this up, as I'm sure you do also. Any suggestions? I apologize for being so picky about the pup!

I made the dog more cutesy, very pampered.

Julie, yes, the ears look much better. Before we finish this up, can I see it without the bow? Just curious of what it would look like, and add the word "Tails" also. Thanks!

Hello
Are you announcing Julie as the winner?
If you are then the money will be sent to Julie and the two of you can discuss the final tweaks (if any) and the format you prefer by email or PM.
Just clarify who the winner is, thanks
