Admin code added by Abby - 7BS64235GU4301005

Each poster size is 2 ft wide by 3 ft high. They are each one sided.

You dont have to adhere too closely to our company colors, but for an idea of our company style and colors, please take a look at this brochure:
http://printaudit.com/downloads/pdf/Print_Audit_Facilities_Manager_Brochure.pdf

All graphic files you need can be found in this zip file:
http://www.printaudit.com/Dealer_Posters.zip

Poster 1
Please use the image (poster1) in the zip file. You can add some color to the poster (blue preferred). As an example, we used this image for our tradeshow booth. You dont have to follow this exactly: http://www.printaudit.com/tradeshowbooth.jpg

This poster should have a bold heading that says: Ask us how we can know you are out of toner before you do.

The Print Audit logo should be somewhere on the poster.

Poster 2
Please use the image (poster2) in the zip file.

This poster should have a bold heading that says: Are you drowning in a sea of paper? Ask how Print Audit can help.

The heading can be divided into two lines if it looks better.

Please put this quote somewhere on the poster, a bit smaller text than the heading:
“With Print Audit in place as a deterrent, our printing went from 2500 pages per week to 275 pages per month." Print Audit Customer

Please put the Print Audit logo on the life preserver (the red & white ring). The Print Audit logo should also be somewhere else on the poster, preferably near the bottom.

Poster 3
Please use the image (poster3) in the zip file.

We used this image as a magazine advertisement, so you will have to re-work this to make it more like a poster. Please keep the image of the girl in the poster. Please erase the BLI round logo, as well as the text that says "Print Audit is the only print management company that designs...."

This poster should have a bold heading that says: You can sell more hardware than your competitors with Print Audit.

Keep the quote that is already on the image, but erase the name and company name that is underneath. You can move the quote, it does not have to stay where it is.

The Print Audit logo should be somewhere on the poster.

The following text should be on the poster (its similar to what is already on there): For more information, please call 877-412-8348 or visit our website at www.printaudit.com

You can be creative with the background color or add cool designs to the background. Please keep it a light color so it is not very noticeable. The main focus should be on the girl and the bold heading.

You can choose to design one poster, two posters or all three of the posters. I will be picking the 3 poster designs that I like best, so there could be up to three seperate winners.

Winners will be paid $150 per poster design that I choose.

Please let me know if you are currently working on any of the poster designs.

Thanks. :)

Do you have this image at a higher resolution? What dpi do you need these at actual size?

OffbeatDesign: thanks for your posts! :)

Poster 1
Can you please make it so the poster is vertical (portrait).

Please change the logo to the Facilities Manager logo. The logo can be found here: http://www.printaudit.com/images/Facilities_Manager_Logo.eps

Poster 2:
I really like this one!

Please change the sky color so its blue, instead of purple. Change the header font color accordingly. Leave the second line as the white font color it is now.

Can you please put the Print Audit logo on both white sides of the life preserver ring and change the logo so its in color. The color logo can be found in the zip file.

Also, the Print Audit logo on the bottom - please change it to the color logo, and make it a bit bigger.

Please remove the "-Print Audit Customer" after the quote.

Poster 3
Are you sure this images resolution is inadequate? We may have a higher resolution. The girls shirt is blue in the original, but we had it changed to red as it is more eye catching.

Can you please change the background color of the poster. I find that the yellow color makes the poster look a bit aged. I would like it to be a neutral, simple color.

With the header, please keep all the words close to the same size font but bold the word "You", so that its more emphasized.

With the quote, can you please try and move it down or space it out somehow so that the blank space beside the girls arm is filled in a bit. Also, please make all the text the same color but emphasize the words "We are selling more equipment". Try and keep the font close to the same size.

Thanks! :)

OffbeatDesign: I will get back to you about the DPI.

Thanks.

Depending on how you're printing you might want a higher resolution image. At actual size the image is 92dpi. On the other images you're at about 150.

Hello,
Here's my submission for poster #2. All the images are enhanced without losing quality. So the final file is saved at 300dpi and 1:1 scale.
I am working on the other two versions.
Thank you,
Virgil.

Hello,
Here is my submission for the No.1 poster. This one too is at 300dpi at 1:1 scale (real size).
I am working on the third poster now.
Thank you,
Virgil.

Hello again,
For type consistency, here's another version of no.2 poster, with the bold typeface of the no. 1 headline.
Thank you,
Virgil.

Poster 1
Please make the header bigger. The background is too plain. Please add some blue color or effects to it.

Poster 2
Please make the first line of the header a bit bigger. Please move the quote down a bit, away from the header. Can you please make the quotations around the quote different / more graphic.

Poster 3
I like the darker background, but I would like it to be blue color. Please change the header color to correspond with a blue background. The quote size is better, but please make it a bit smaller. The logo and text on the bottom should have the same background color as the rest of the poster. Please make the text all one color.

Thanks! :)

Virgil: thanks for your posts!

Poster 1
I find that the font is hard to read. Please change it to make it easier to read.

Can you please "jazz" up the background somehow, and make the photocopier image as large as possible to the sides of the poster.

With the header, I would like the words "ask us" to be the same blue as the rest. Leave the words "before you do" white.

I'm not keen on the bottom part with the logo. I would like it to blend into the rest of the background more.

Poster 2
I find that the font is hard to read. Please change it to make it easier to read.

For the first sentance in the header, please make the font color blue. The second sentance in the header, please make the font color white. (The words "Print Audit" should be white) Please make the second sentance a bit bigger.

With the quote, please make the text all the same color. Please put the quotations around the quote.

Thanks! :)

Sure thing. I can make it as pronounced as you want, just don't let it compete with the type.

Hello Aonstine,
And thank you for your feedback.
Here's a change for the poster no.2.
Virgil.

Virgil

With another typeface, more condensed. I still think the first option can be read without any problem, because of the exposed size of the final artwork.
Thank you,
Virgil.

Poster 2
Can you please make the text more blue to match the sky color?

Please take off the "Print Audit Customer" after the quote. Please fix the quotation at the beginning of the quote, as it is facing the wrong way and is upside down.

Thanks again! :)

Poster 1
Yeah, I think it looked better when the ghost effect was not so pronounced on the black background.

I'll get back to you.

Poster 2
Please make the sky and header text color more blue.

The poster looks a bit too cramped with the size of the font. Can you please shrink it down a bit.

With the header, can you please make it so the text is on two or three lines. It's too broken up right now. If need be, adjust the text size accordingly but not too big.

Please move the quote to the right side of the poster, and down a bit.

Poster 1
Can you try a different effect on the background?

Poster 2
Please make the header text a bit lighter shade of blue.

I find that the word "Audit" in the quote is blending into the white of the clouds. Can you move it around to see if it looks better. On actual poster size, it might be ok. Just wanted to see different options.

Poster 3
You can see the blue in the girls shirt. Can you please fix that?

With the text at the end, please change it to: FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CALL 877-412-8348 OR VISIT OUR WEBSITE AT WWW.PRINTAUDIT.COM

Hello and thank you for your feedback. Here are the changes you requested for poster no.2. The white part of the sky is a bit darker, the drop shadow effect is more visible and I think that when the artwork will be at the print size, the whole lettering will be easy to see and read. I chose not to move the text lower on the right side, because I didn't want to alter the message of the image: the character would somehow point to the quote with his hands, and I didn't want to get that closer.
Thank you,
Virgil.

Hello Aonstine,
Here is the change you requested. Thank you very much,
Virgil.

Virgil
10-10-2007, 12:01 AM
Hello again Aonstine,
Here's one idea and approach: to use a distorted/eroded effect on the first sentence of the headline - this way the message is transmitted in words and also with a corresponding visual effect - I think the target people know how a bad printed text looks like - and then the invitation "Ask us how" is smoothly printed - the solution, Print Audit Manager.

I also think the "bad print" effect and concept could be implemented into this design a a larger scale, but I wanted to place it first in the essential message form the headline. The effect simulates a bad printing caused by the empty toner cartridge.

The headline is easy to read, in small and bigger sizes. The colors can be changed, adapted if you think this concept has a potential.

Thank you,
Virgil.

The girl in the red shirt the image provided is very small. Honestly, if we use this low res image it will print blurry. Let me know if you think we should try using a different girl or if you can hunt down a really large image of her. Thanks
