Hi!

This is the second of two contests, each for a different site.

This is for help sprucing up the eDeliverability site at:
http://www.edeliverability.com

First, I need a real logo. :-) Badly. The things I care about are:

a. The colour theme stay the same - I really like these colours a lot.

b. I really like the idea of a logo which is an envelope with a pair of wings on it - a sort of angled side view of the envelope, so that you see all of the'front' wing, and the top part of the other wing coming up from behind the envelope - almost a straight-on profile, but as if the envelope is flying away from you at a 45 degree angle (or a bit less) and to the right (so flying towards the center of the page if the logo is on the upper left, not towards the edge of the page). BUT, that said, I'm completely open to other ideas if you think that you have a great one! This logo can take just about any form, so long as it looks professional -stylized, trendy, traditional, drawing, photo - whatever seems to work best!

c. I will continue to use "We deliver!" as our slogan. It doesn't have to be in the logo, but it can be.

Second, we need another logo for a new product which eDeliverability is launching, which is called "EDAPP", which is short for "Email Deliverability Application".

EDAPP is a small software-based product which allows email sending and receiving systems to communicate to pre-validate a particular sender and preauthorize a specific mailing. This is to facilitate legitimate mail getting through while keeping spam out.

Finally, if we could pretty please have a single banner to replace the 4 graphics going across the top, and another one which is just slightly different for sub pages. Here too I am wide open to anything which looks great! And the "We deliver!" could go here, as well (but doesn't have to).

Thank you!!!

Anne

Here's a start for the logo

Hello Anne,

As you can see, I started working to the new logos for e-deliverability. I read your guidelines and I thought to try something a little different - that is the "stamp" logo..with the @ in the center. I think this logo can create the idea of email traffic too..
Next is the second logo which creates the sensation of movement, speed, email traffic - sending the message and then it's destination(the two @'s). I used the colours from your first contest because I didn't quite understand which of colours do you like - from e-deliverability website or the ones from your first contest. Anyway, they could be easily and quickly changed. Next, I designed a banner for the website and you can see how it looks attached on your site. I used both logos, too. If you want changes, just let me know!

Best regards,
Gilles.

Wow guys, when it rains, it pours! Thank you!

Hmm..if you could somehow merge all of your concepts into one... :-)

I like Bill's (Penny Lane's) colours, and the basic concept - along with Ryan's they match the most closely with my original idea. I like Ryan's (Core Design) version of "eDeliverabilty" (and yes, it is a capital 'D'). I like Gilles banner, although I mostly like the left half and the wording - not so keen on the right half.

I do want "eDeliverability" spelled out, I'm sorry if I wasn't clear on that before - the blended ED was just something I put up there because I needed something quickly.

Ryan's envelope is more of the orientation I wanted..sort of heading away from you - if you are standing at south, the envelope is flying away towards the north east - or if you are standing on the face of a clock at 6, the envelope is flying past you from 8 to 2. But with a wing on each side of it, rather than both wings on the back (think of the horse, Pegasus).

I really like the way Raja tucked the "we deliver" in, nestled up against 'eDeliverability" in just the right location.

I definitely want to stick to the colours on the site presently...if you draw from the colours in the 4 graphics currently along the top, and the navbar margin, you won't go wrong. :-)

Thank you!!!

Anne

P.S. I should have mentioned that both Ryan's and Raja's envelopes have pretty much the correct orientation (flying away, towards the upper right..)

Thanks!

Thinking more...Ryan (Core Design)...if you take the right most wing, turn it around, and put it on the flap of the envelope, so it is parallel with the other wing (like a bird's would be if the envelope was a bird), and center the text under the envelope, we'd be pretty close to something like I'd like. :-) Oh, and changed the colours to be consistent with the colours on the site (http://www.edeliverability.com)

Thanks!

Huhhso -

I *really* like the top logo (and your humour in your tagline and sig! <grin>)

Can you change the orientation of the envelope in the top logo so that it is like..hmm...I keep trying to describe this..hang on..here we go:

http://www.isipp.com/images/phoenix.jpg

Imagine the bird is the envelope...only with wings up rather than outstretched.

And, can you please make it more along the purple spectrum?

Thanks!!

Ooh, ElKootcho! I really like those two! (And thank you for working in the EDAPP!)

Could you possibly rotate the envelope around so it is pointing with the leading edge facing to the right, instead of the left, perhaps make the wings a little less filled in (same size, but not as heavy in the colouration), and then throw the colouring more towards purple rather than blue/grey?

I also *really* like how you kept the envelope in the EDAPP logo, and it's obviously the same little guy, but he's kind of leaning in to the "EDAPP" (See? You've already got me anthropomorphizing 'him'! It's like the envelope is turning into a mascot or character! That's great! [Whether intended or not! :-) ])

Thanks!!

El Kootcho,

Ooh..very nice! Thank you! What do you think it would look like if the black letters were a different colour, to tie it in more with the colours on the site? (http://www.edeliverabilty.com) Also, does the envelope work at all if it's up-and-down (I.e. standing on it's bottom edge, rather than "laying on its back"?

And, nice photo of 'Karnac'! :-)

Thanks!!

purple & blue?

[hmm.. like this?]

Ryan! Now *that* is the orientation for which I'm looking!!!!

Can we move the envelope above the words, and somehow indicate motion with it? (I.e. it is flying away from us (being delivered))??

Thank you!!!

Anne

Ok, this is really weird..I *just* got a note that El Kootcho had replied, but I don't see it here. :-X

Finally throughly read your first post. but I feel like coredesign beat me to the punch. (Ryan, let me know if you need me to remove this post)

My first posts were based on the Phoenix example you gave.

I have to confess that the bottom of Ryan's two most recent is nearly *exactly* what I had in mind (I'd like to explore some alternate colours, though, and is there a way to make the "background" transparent, so other colours can be played with?)

Ryan: how does this look for the EDAPP logo?

And, of course, there are still the 2 banners, so the contest is still ...viable. :-)

THANK YOU!!!

Hi Ryan!

Ok, so far I like your original colours better. :-) Hey, I never said that I had an eye for this stuff! <grin>

Can I pretty please see that bottom logo (of the two where I said that the bottom one was just about exactly it) without the "*"?

Also, for the EDAPP logo, a) could you pretty please make a version with the envelope sort of bending in near the EDAPP, like you did with the first one? Like it's kind of stopping by the "EDAPP" to say 'hi' or to point it out to the viewer or whatever you were thinking with the first EDAPP logo? :-) And, do you have any other ideas for the EDAPP logo, assuming that the eDeliverability logo is pretty much as that bottom one is? (And, for the banners?)

Thank you!!!

Hi Ryan!

Wow..I think that you've completely nailed the logos!! (Especially if the white area is actually "transparent" so that it will show body colour if need be - is it? - or am I thinking of something which isnt' really possible? :-) Thank you!!

I like the banner, but can it be a little more photograph - looking versus not photos? I'm pretty keen on the clock graphic (not saying it should be in the banner!..just showing what I like, and colours too), and how about we pull the "edeliverability" out of the banner, and just include our tagline ("We deliver!"). If you could pretty please make that work - then maybe the second banner could simply be that same banner again, but with no words, or different words, or maybe the same "We Deliver" but also the envelope, or something. Again, I'm *not* trying to overburden here with a 2nd banner..it can (and should) be quite similar to the first, just different enough to be distinguishable.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Gosh, this is sooo tough...you're all so wonderful at what you do, and Gilles, I really did like these last 3 banners, but Ryan nailed the logo, and that is what I really need to go with. So, Ryan, congratulations - you've won this contest - and thank you - and thank everyone!

(And please check out my contest over at

Thank you all again!
