hi,

we are wedding photographers from germany and we need a new logo.
please read the answered questions below and also have a look at our old website www.tag7.de to get a clue what we are doing and how our work looks like.

What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
- just our company name: Tag7 (Tag7 means day7 in english)

What type of product or service do you offer?
- wedding photojournalism + portraits
- engagement shootings
- newlyweds shootings, trash the dress shootings
- individual guestbooks + magazinstyle albums

How long have you been in business?

- this year was our second wedding season

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
- our new identity should present our work and personalities better
- attract new customers
- should make people curious about our work

What are your long term goals?
- still want to stay at the top of germanys wedding photographers
- getting more recognition for our work


Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
- our customers are couples between about 25 and 35 years, mostly
- couples, who want to get married
- couples in love and engaged
- brides

What type of logo would you like?
- must consist of letters of "Tag7" + a sign, which could also stand alone and represents our company
- modern, fresh, stylish, easy remarkable


Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
- any colour that fits to our new website. you can have a look at a predesign at:

(the flower will disappear ans also some of the swirls. we want to have it more simple)

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

- we like the idea of having one or two angelwings included as sign
- beside the angelwings, if you have another great idea, please show what you are thinking of when you see our work or read our name

What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
- attributes: young, fresh, something new and unique in germany
- passion

Where will your new logo be used?
- website
- business card
- letterhead
- email
- any kind of advertising

What sets you apart from your competitors?
- our style is colourful and new / fresh
- we love what we do and are totally passionate about it
- we want to show our personalities + the personalities of the couples in our photos

hi deanna,

thank you so much for the designs, but it is not really what we are looking for.
the font: we like simple fonts, easy to read and straight.
and what we absolutely want to have is a sign that could stand alone without the tag7 letters.
colour: the blue one does not fit to our new website.

the first one look way too technical. the second one is better, but the sign looks too simple and unattractive for clients plus for the font of tag7 we like it more simple.

@ titania:
nice work but absolutely does not fit to us ;) we want something more simple and unique.

I think I`l`l have to push it more in the right direction. I`ve collected some logos i like:

here some feedback:

@ giant:
this is much better than the others, but the sign looks like an "F" ... could you try something with one or two wings and the Tag7 letter without including Tag7 or T in the sign?
would be great.

@ freetime:
I like it somehow, but you can`t really figure out what meaning the sign has. i guess people won`t recognize it. but I like you style. could you also do something with the simple letters of Tag7 and some wings as sign?

@ shnickerdoodle studios :
also nice, goes in the right direction. could you use a more simple font and play a bit with the wing? would be nice to see what you can make of it.

absolutely great! we are really close to what we thought of. we are not sure if we like the first or the second design best, both are great. could you please try some changes:
- make the tip of the wings left and right first go up, as you have made it, and then let them swing a little bit down. just try, i don`t know how this will look in the end ;)
- could you make the inner part of the wing a little bit more broad that it does not end in such a little tip (also just for try)
- the horizontal "T"- line should be a little bit expanded
- there should be less space between the letters of "Tag"
- could you use a different font just for try. just want to see how another font looks like in this logo.

the wings look great, we stay with them. Perfect :)
and we also stay with the first font you included, but thanks for showing some other options. We like the design with the circle around the 7, so your design-version 6 is nearly perfect ;)

Could you please reduce the size of "Tag7" a bit? Just a bit that it fits better between the wings.
And could you expand the horizontal "T"-line a bit to the left and right side?

thanks everyone else for posting so many good ideas.

@ titania: so we`d`like to have the files of version 9 in the shown colour. could you also send us the logo in the complete grey colour and in the complete pink colour? we would like to use ifferent colours when we print it on the photos. and it would be great if you could send us the wings also seperately in those colours. is that possible?
