http://www.blutemplates.com/juliet/index2.php?v=v1
That is the template. Colors/music may change, but that is the general layout of it. The log will be in the top right corner.

This is good stuff. I was hoping more of a central logo/two letter design with the writing beside it (sort of like the 1st design).
This way I can use just the logo itself for watermarking/smaller uses and the full thing (with Bryan Caporicci Photography) for larger purposes.
By the way, I have plans on raising the price. I just wanted to make sure I was going to be getting designers participating here before I raised it.

v8. You could use the same BC initials as #7 as a stand alone element.
I like the "BC" logo, I'm thinking for the text "Bryan Caporicci Photography" more like a "signature" than just text, thoughts?

10-24-2007, 05:53 AM
Hey Bryan. Which "BC" logo are you referring to?
I really like the "BC" logo in v5, v6 coming in close 2nd. But I was hoping for maybe a signature/script that integrated around that.
How can I change the title from $125 to $150?

Offbeat - I like v9 (the 1st one), but I like the colors in v5.

No problem. The black and white was just so you could compare the type treatments.
That's my favorite so far Offbeat - great stuff!
Any other designers working on anything? Shall I raise the price once again to get some incentive? LOL

I actually like that ... !
Not sure if I'm wild on the cloud-like thing in the middle though. Maybe you could make it somethign related to photography? A camera or something? Or more of a design?
Thanks!

I simplified the middle graphic. Was trying to keep it more elegant.

v4 I'll see what else I can work out. Do you want your intials as part of the icon?
I like that better, but I'm not sure it's quite there.
And no, initials don't necessarily have to be part of the side-logo part.
Thanks!

This is good stuff guys ... !
Freetime - I really like that last one there! Neat idea! I wonder if it portrays professionalism though? Looks almost too comicy, what do you think?
Taldo - camera idea is very unique. I like it, but I actually didn't recognize it as a camera until you pointed it out. Maybe we could have it more recognizable? Also, I prefer more rounded/soft corners. Thoughts?

I believe it looks clean and professional. My actual favorites are versions 6 & 7. They would make good water marks also.

Yeah? For example, take a peek here:

Do you think it has the same elegance?
Also, do you think it will mesh nicely with the site I'm working on now:

I think by using a graphic like a camera type icon, you do get away from the elegance. I was trying to keep the elegance with version 5. I believe that type in that version is clean, crisp also.
Version 6 you can do flash animation with the icon.

Good point. I like your thinking on this. Too bad I don't know how to do flash animations though!
Taldo - I like that a lot! Very elegant. Don't like the drop shadow though. This is getting more towards the style I am going for!
Note: I'm moreso a wedding photographer than anything else. So anything relating to weddings, or a logo/style that is targeted towards weddings/elegance is preferred.

Except my name's spelt with a "Y" lol

Oh man! I'm so sorry! Here it is spelled correctly this time.
It's cool, thanks! I like that a log! I REALLY like the bryancaporicci script. I think I would like it without the bryan caporicci under it though, and maybe a logo beside it?
freetime
10-24-2007, 07:09 PM
v10.1 I don't think it would look good to do a 'bc' script next to the bryan caporicci script. I think you would be able to use the whole name where space is available and then the 'bc' (as shown) where space is limited.

Freetime - good point. Nicely done.
Offbeat - nice! I like this better than the last! I honestly LOVE that bc logo thing. I am really looking for a nice main logo because I will be using it in a lot of places where space just doesn't permit for the whole logo + text.

Not so wild on the bcp, Offbeat. I see where you're trying to go, but it just makes it too busy imo.

I like that little circle logo thing! Do you think it is distracting how the b in the logo is the same text as the b in "bryan caporicci" and they're so close?
Thanks so much for the effort! These are honestly all incredible!! There's no way I'll be able to decide alone, I'll be drawing in 3rd and 4th parties!

Nice Taldo! VERY nice! That is DEFINITELY what I am looking for.
Now that the "style" I am aiming for has been defined - let's see some competition here!
EXCELLENT work!
Oh Offbeat - that last one (v17) is AWESOME also. Ugh. How do clients end up picking from all these awesome designers? You guys are awesome!

Great stuff here guys!
Now the only issue I'm seeing is that the "photography" may be a little too small for some uses. For example, on my website, it needs to be 70px high max. Do you think we could have a 2nd version of the logo w/ bigger "photography" just for this purpose?
OffbeatDesign
10-26-2007, 06:03 PM
Bryan,
Could you specify which posts you would be interested in seeing with the larger "photography" so we don't duplicate every post? Thanks!
Jeff
So far, this is what I have it narrowed down to:
J Johnson v1
Offbeat v1 (Doesn't need bigger Photography though)
Offbeat v5
Freetime v7
Taldo v3
SkyV v1 (I don't like how photography is placed though)

Oh man you guys are making this so hard! Just when I thought I had decided!
Any last words? :)
Ok folks. Thanks so much for the efforts, I'm SUPER impressed with the work here, and will definitely be sending MANY more clients in this direction.
It was a super tough decision, but, I have decided after much deliberation to go with version 3 by Carl Taldo.
Taldo
10-30-2007, 02:48 PM
Thanks a bunch! Do you need any revisions?
If it is at all possible, would I be able to have a couple of versions:
- 1 as it is
- 1 with "Photography" larger
- 1 large version with JUST the "BC"
Thanks so much Taldo!
What format do they come in? How big?
One medium I'll be getting it printed is on a banner - 3 feet by 4 feet. Now obviously it won't fill the banner, but, is it possible to have it with high enough resolution to go on this banner?
Thanks again everyone, it was a SUPER tough decision!
