Hi All,

I had such a positive experience the last time, I'm coming back for more! I have a project with which I need a lot of help. I'm a residential real estate agent in the Pittsburgh, PA area and I'm trying to do some niche marketing. I am gay and I'm trying to target the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (GLBT) community through one of our local community newsletters. I am a very reserved person, so nothing "over the top" or explicit, if you know what I mean.

Although I can have other formats, I'd really like to have the final product in pdf and eps files (and more if you can provide them).

This is a link to the specs for the ad http://www.glccpgh.org/Newsletter/newsadvertise.aspx I am only doing a half-page ad, which is either 4" W X 10.5" H OR 8" W X 5.25" H

I have a few logos that need to go on the ad as well (see attachments--my company logo, my personal logo, our company's "money back guarantee" logo, the fair housing logo, and the Realtor logo). My company logo must be larger (though it can be JUST larger) than my personal logo or name. I've also attached a headshot that's on my business cards, but I have NO idea how you're going to get it to look good in B&W, as it is currently in color.

Here are my details for the ad:

Brian Sergi-Curfman
Howard Hanna Real Estate
6310 Forbes Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15217
(412) 421-9120 (office)
(412) 901-6900 (mobile)
briansergicurfman@howardhanna.com

The designations I hold (or will hold by the time this is printed) are Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer's Representaitive (ABR), Residential Finance Specialist (RFS), and Residential Construction Certified (RCC). I'd like to have these spelled out (without the abbreviations, unless you have a good use for them) in the ad somewhere. If you want me to include these logos, I can do that, I just haven't with as much as I've included thus far.

I don't have a good message other than "I'm one of you, I know your issues, you can be comfortable with me, and I'm a damned good agent," but that doesn't exactly sell as is, and that's why I'm here! Please feel free to ask more questions and I'll be happy to answer what I can.

I'm really looking forward to working with you all again!

There haven't been any posts since my initial request. I'm wondering if this is a project in which people aren't interested or if no one has posted because the deadline isn't for two weeks?

Hello,

We should decide the final format,
I suggest vertical format.

I propose the design as shown below.
The whole ads background color is black 10%, to differ with the whole white color in newspaper.

Any comments will be apprecited.

Thank you.
LutFi.

Hi LutFi,

Thanks for responding to the request. Here is some feedback:

1. As I mentioned in my original post, my name and logo cannot be bigger than my company logo (and neither can the Realtor, Money Back Guarantee, or Equal Housing Logo).

2. You've left out my designations

3. I'm not sure how to give this piece of feedback, so I'll do my best. I was hoping for an actual advertisement, something with a stock photo or something where a message is delivered through a picture. All you've done is put the info I've provided into a big rectangular box. I'm capable of doing that, and I had come here for something different.

4. The tag line (I'm one of you, I know your issues, etc...) was laid out as the message I wanted to send, not the actual words I wanted to use. Even in my post, I said that it doesn't sound quite right as is.

I really appreciate your efforts and hope that you'll come back with something else.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback.

This is version # 2. I tried to find proper stock images to give message: "I'm one of you, I know your issues, you can be comfortable with me, and I'm a damned good agent."

Then I simplified the message with "your understanding agent".
with images of circling people (to symbolize message: I'm one of you, I know your issues, you can be comfortable with me). And I add severval houses image in behind (to symbolize I'm a damned good agent with the good track record and experience).

That's all

Thank you.
LutFi.

I'd like to thank LutFi for the work done thus far. Does anyone else plan on posting something by the deadline? I'd like to know if you have an interest in helping me with the design.

I plan on submitting a design in the next day or two. At least a day or two before the deadline, definitely.

Thanks,
Jeremy
