wedding, portrait, commercial photography

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
i want to attract new clients with a professional, unique logo
What are your long term goals?
to become a full time professional photographer. satisfaction
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
December 10th, 2007
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
young, engaged couples, and parents of young children
Who would you like to add to your audience?
people who want to pay me to take photos.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
a clean, but not boring logo. something that conveys youth and creativity.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
black, greys, whites (with possible accent colors)
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
possibly some creative intertwining of the letters j and b. not in a flowy, sweeping kind of way though. also, i'm open to using all lower case letters, or normal capitalization, but not all capitals.
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
creativity, youthfulness.
What is your tagline or slogan?
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Where will your new logo be used?
website, business cards, blog, postcards
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
List competitive URLs if possible

State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
