I am looking for a logo for my tax/accounting business. I always use burgundy and cream for my colors. I'm looking for something I can use on business cards, stationary, brochures, t-shirts, etc. We serve small businesses and individuals and focus on personal service and high quality. I typically use Lucida Calligraphy for my font on my letterhead.
Name of the company: Williams Executive Business Services

That's a good start. I especially like the one on the left. Do you guys have any clever ideas about a logo that wouldn't involve my name but would somehow tie in tax work? Not sure what...my business cards currently have a thing on them that says, 'Keeping your business in check!' that's written in a circle and then inside the circle is a checkmark. The business card also has alternating burgundy and gray squares across the top. I'll be changing my business cards in a couple weeks and I don't want to go with anything exactly like that...just would like to see what you guys can get out of that.

Wow - cool entries guys. Here are my comments:
pennyln - love the colors - can you come up with a different sign/symbol other than the % sign?
eagle - good start, play with it a little bit more - Can we get a W that's a little skinnier (similar to pennyln's W - the one on the left?)
dynagirl - I like #3 - can I see some different fonts for the wording?
wwwzone - I like #3, can you change the colors to a darker burgundy and the 'Williams Executive Business Services' to a black? Also--not sure about the gray box.
For all designers - I really like a dark, rich burgundy color and black or grey.
Keep it coming! This is cool!

Can I see the bottom one in a dark burgundy color? And can you make the the 'Executive Business Services' in a slightly larger font---and maybe a different font - one that's not so boxy?
I doubt your interested anyway, sorry for the typo. Here it is spelled correctly

Raja - Not bad...can I see how that would look on letterhead or a business card?
Nfrack - Let's capitalize the 1st letter of Executive Business Services? Also---do you have a font close to the one pennylyn used in the bottom right logo of her first post? Can you also get a burgundy close to pennyln's burgundy?
Other designers....wwwzone, pennylyn.....can I please see some revisions? :D PLEASE????
You guys are doin' great...

I capitalized the first letters in Executive Business Services, made the font Apple Chancery just like in pennyl's and tryed to get the burgundy matched up with what your looking for. Also I added a 50 percent transparency behind the fonts t give it more of a clean logo look. Please let me know what you think and if you need anything just let me know.
Thank you for your time its greatly appreciated

Wow - this is going to be a tough choice. Ya'll have so much talent.
eagle - can I see a different font for the W? Maybe something a little more close to cursive...I'm not sure - that straight W just isn't getting it for me. Also...can we play a little with the box and placement of the % sign?
nfrack - hold onto that. Looks great.
dynagirl - can I see 'Executive Business Services' in a font similar to what nfrack used? I like that look.
Thank you!

We're gettin' close...
nfrack - can I see a slightly different burgundy color...a deeper color with some more red in it maybe? Love the transparency thing...just would prefer the color a little richer.
wwwzone - nice. I especially like #8. Can I see it in a different font? Something a little more feminine but still readable?
Thanks guys!
Here are some more variations...

wwwzone----I'm really leaning towards #10 or #11. For kicks, can I see the 'Executive Business Services' in a slightly larger font size? Also---can I see how it would look on a business card?
What are your feelings about this one?
