Thank you for your reply. I am a landscape Designer (women) and I was hoping to get something more earthy, realistic, and with my tag line like I was thinking "COME HOME TO EDEN"?

Designs of Distinction by Gardenscape is also a tag line I like as well.
Using some elegant fonts might be in order.
How about using a font like you would on A Design Blue Print?

Designers,
I would like my logo to be more original and witty... my husband said he does not want to drive trucks with a bunch of flowers on them... (a macho thing)
How about more like an enblom look with a garden view, the emblom could be a arbor or pergola....more realistic..
So keep brainstorming!
Chris

Okay! now we are getting some where..
I am liking FREETIME'S LOGO the best so far. It is actually looking more distinct a little more upperclass look to it...
KEKEPA- The brush stroke is nice,
BLESSEVILLE- The ribbon look is good...
LOGOHOLIC- The butterfly is cool...
Still, I would still like to see something more witty/unique!
Everyone, please keep your creativity going!!!!! I am so looking forward to viewing them.. also, let me know if you need more from me..
Thanks

THOUGHTFULL DESIGNER- It is elegant, the lamp post is witty.. and it looks high end like the customers I want to attract. I think this maybe what I am looking for... Not crazy about the colors although.. The writing (name) is kinda long.. Can you stagger (stack) the name and put it on two lines? You can drop the .COM

THOUGHTFULL DESIGNER- Thankyou for stacking the name.. I was hoping if the logo was not as long it would look better on our trucks and invoices. It does not look as good stacked as I thought it would. I think darker colors would look better and it would stand out more. But I like it in general and I especially loved the lampost!!! That was witty!
BLUECHERRY- Your logo #1 looks very elegant to me classy. But not real witty or unusual/different. But I like it in general
Logo#3 is a little witty using the graph paper background look in the back ground, but I am not really crazy about it in general.
FREETIME- I like your logo in general.. and I like the colors... It is classy and elegant which I like. But not a real show stopper/head turner...
Thanks to all the designer... I think you are on the right track..

THOUGHFUL DESIGNER- Still like the lamp post in the logo, especially for a landscape design build company.. but not the colors
FREE TIME- #3 My husband likes your.. We like how it is compacted together..
CREATIVE DESIGNER- Your logo is nice, easy to read and and simple in yet makes a dramatic impact, but looks the clip art looks like for lawn care although we do lawn care too!
BLESSEVILLE- The blended gold color is really nice
PREMIUM- the clipart looks like a Christmas Ornament...ha
Each one has their good qualities but none have hit the nail on the head yet!
Please keep tring. All of you are very talented and am looking forward to working with one of you!

FREE TIME- I really like yours last one and earlier one
On your last pic and you put in a lampost/arbor/pillar/pegola or something of that nature?
DJAKA's logo I still love your logo with the light Post. If you could make it look maybe more like a seal or something like freetimes I think I would like it better.
In six days I will make up my mine.
And thank you, I enjoyed your work!

THOUGHTFUL DESIGNER - I really liked your Lamp logo #33 but decided to go with Free Times.... Thank you.
FREE TIME- WE HAVE DECIDED TO GO WITH YOURS LOGO #31!
I would need few modifications:
1. Change the flower in the middle to a Arbor/vine, Trellis,
Night Lighting/pillar/ obelisk or Rose..
2. Make the Name Plural- GARDENSCAPES
3. Change the Color - Color like a Sage Green, Cranberry
4. And Can I get it in a form I will be able to modify it a bit, I think I
like in desk top Publisher? I would like to put it in a box to add my
business card details and send it off to print.
Thankyou and I look forward to working with you.
By the way, can you develope a web page?

Thank you! I will work on those changes this weekend.
As far as you being able to modify the file, it is created in Adobe Illustrator. I don't think you will be able to modify it. You should be able to place or insert it into a publisher file to make your business cards, etc.

Very punny on V5 but I can see the light rose and post!
I would still like to challenge you alittle more on the logo.
Can you make that top part of the outline in a pergola with a vine maybe? (Simular to a ladder laying horizontal across the top) may be try the make the letter N in gardenscape make like a lamppost like thoughtful designers
and then brighten the colors a bit.

I'm reading this to my wife and she laughed at my question of "what's a pergola?" Do you have an example or image of what you are thinking? Sorry for my ignorance. The green thumb ended with my grandparents!
Also, I cannot do the lamp post out of the 'N', that was djaka's idea and we are not allowed to take another designer's concept.

You'll get vector eps files, jpgs and gifs.
Are the color ok?
chrissygardenscape
02-05-2008, 09:45 AM
the color may be just find.. I may be putting it on green vehicals so I think the colors will stand out... unless you think you should cherry up the brown berry color up a bit..
Thanks,
Chris
