Here's my entry...

I really liked your take on the logo.

I do not like the cattle head that you chose. I would like to suggest something with much smaller horns... We will be dealing in young calves ....

http://americanredbrangus.org has a logo with a head that I like but without the neck.... maybe stylized in some way...

Also a Texas state outline, cattle skull with smaller horns or any other shape that you might have in mind...

I have not had a large number of designers try this design....

It might help if you take the approach of a Real Estate DEvelopment with the Bar J Ranch Name.... That is something that I would be interested in seeing..

Just a thought to help those seeking direction with the logo

These are some logos, that I found on a simple logo search on yahoo, that we like and obviously I would not like to "COPY" any of these but would like to use these as examples of th type of logos we like... I hope that this helps

thanks for the latest designs...

V1 & V3 are both designs I would like to see more revisions to. I would like to make a few suggestions....

more red maroon color ...
drop the . after the j...
would like to see different fonts perhaps...
the cow head does not suit me ...

I would like to edit guidelines slightly... Feel free to keep the text the same but would also say that Bar J Cattle or Bar J would also be appropriate.

I am also going to post a few more that I like for ideas.

Our family Partnership is part owner of this ranch and our logo is attached... If someone wanted to include the tree to integrate the two, it might be interesting... Thank you all for your help.

Slight color revisions upon client's request sent via PM :) Are these better? What direction should I move in?

Artemii- I like the latest design you submitted. Suggestions: remove stars and change all the fonts to something more modern. possibly edit the cow head to stylize it in some way like the tree.

NHR- thanks for all your designs I like the V 3.0. Would love to see anything else you can come up with.

Just a note to everyone-
You do not have to use a cowhead. It was just a possibility.
If anyone does not know a BAR J brand looks like " -J " .
Feel free to use any of these names: bar j, bar j ranch, bar j cattle

I am extending the deadline by 1 week. Please forward any designs that you have. I really like bill and nhr... but not loving any particular design...

I know that this is outside of the norm for the site, however, I do not want a cowboy logo.... Please look at the design as a trendy subdivision or real estate developement....

I like the shorter horns as original.

I like the second set of colors however the red looks a little muted... (make the red a little more maroon) .... can you show one additional font that is maybe thinner (modern-look).. if that makes sense..
