I offer high end Childrens photography





When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer? hopefully within the week.


Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?

I would like to keep my existing "name" layout However, if you think the name layout should change,within the use of the Futura font go for it!! I don't care for logo elements with big dots and swirls.

I am hoping for a funky/fun yet classy element. A few ideas I have are:

•A butterfly (but funky looking like I have now with a hand drawn look)

•a dandelion on the side with the pieces blowing around. (if someone could do this and make it look like a watercolor drawing I would LOVE it!!)

• A windmill (not the building,but the toy that kids blow)

•or instead a simple understated play on the initials HM.

• A flower with falling petals.

What I DON'T want to see is : cameras, film strips,babies or kids,squares,circles

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

The name should remain black or grey, have fun with the element.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? Fun/contemporary/stylish

Offbeat- Thank you so much for the try's,you are very talented!!!However, while I really like these,they are not *me*. I need something more Whimsical. The top one was actually my first logo,another designer made for me. The second one is very nice but has a very "corporate" feel to it. I need something more

"magical,childish,whimsical,playful"

Pracus- Still a little to "corporate" looking. Would like to see a more "feminine" dandelion on the left side, no ground and grass.

OffBeat- Thats a little to doodle looking, I think a better word rather then hand drawn would be illustrated.

OffBeat- I really like that, is there anyway you can color in a watercolor fashion (not sure if that can be done without actually painting,I'm clueless) and make the seeds blowing more around the name? Also would like to see more of a wind blown tilt to the flower head itself

The watercolor effect in the dandelion itself is difficult since the details are delicate. I added a watercolor swash underneath. Let me know if that helps. Thanks.

You know I hate critiquing..I feel like a big meanie!

OffBeat- I like the Dandelion, would like to see less seeds and more spread out flying, but just not crazy about the grey color. I dont care for the swash.

Pracus- I like this, but the head seems a little to much like a disk, **LOVE** the stem,not crazy about the ground/grass.

Offbeat Version #6 - I like this one, would like to see the stem contained inside an outline, and the seeds not so uniform,floating "around" the name. Is there anything you can do to lighten up the head? I really love your dandelion's head and seeds but the black does not fit my style.

Pracus version #3- Adore the stem, but not the head and seeds. Would love to see this with more detail in the head and seeds.

OffBeat Version #7- this is not my style,is is very nice it just dosent suit me.

Tini1-This is to "over the top" for me.

Would love to see some other takes on the initials and other suggestions as well.

Carol- This is a nice use of the initials, would love to see it without the box. I also just would like to see any ideas you have as I am very drawn to your work in general.

Pracus- this is great, still a bit bulky for me

offbeat- these are amazing. Would like to see version 8 C with a darker middle( love the light grey seedlings!!) and a less choppy stem.

Offbeat- looking through all of your dandelions this is getting very difficult. ..because I love the first one you did and I love version A on the last one you did... if there was a way to make the stem a bit shorter as in the first one and closer to my name, less seeds like the 1st and keep the colors of A but shade out a bit from the flower "head" into seeds that would be great...

Taldo- This is very nice,however just not my style exactly
Offbeat- that is the perfect dandelion,if I choose this can we just make the outer leaves more of a light grey and keep the stems darker?
Pracus- Ahhh...just as I was about to make a decision you do this...LOL..this is an awesome butterfly.. kinda looks like she is flexing some muscle though. I just saw the design you did for the pear,THAT is 100% the *type* of look I am going for. Love the thin outline and painted effect. Can you propose anything within that same drawing style??

OK, I have chosen Offbeat version 10A as the logo.

This was *very* hard for me and I honest to God did not sleep last night because you all made it so hard. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful designs.
