View Full Version : "Mr Free Host" needs a LOGO $100

A.J. here again! Now that Fontsville.com has a logo, we need one for MrFreeHost.com.

Company name: MrFreeHost.com

Services provided: It will be a free host provider and a part of our network of sites.

Colors: We have not started on the layout so we are not set on a color, but we like the green color scheme on this site for lettering:

(no pink hehe)

Style: My first thought was a college professor and kind of the “teaching theme”. We want to have an even mix of Corporate and Funny image. But there is no limits, use your imagination.

Deadline: noon October 10th (unless a winner is selected before the deadline)

How I will use the logo: Obviously used on the website, banners ads, business cards, letterheads, envelopes and other advertisements.

I am hoping to get the logo in the formats that will allow me to use it for these listed above.

Nice design!
Maybe add something else.. I dont know maybe a chalkboard with "hosting 101" skribbled on it. (just an idea) and can we see variant sizes of just the text logo.

I really like the chalkboard, it healps create a teaching theme, I think I will be posting tutorials and helping others learn how to better host their site... sets me up for a nice theme..

I must admit that I am a little upset with the lack of entries on this contest; I really thought this one would be a blowout contest.

Seeing some of the logos that have been done in other contest leads me to believe that Mr. Free Host could have a great logo.

ALL 3 that have entered have characteristics that we like, but we sure would like to see more choices...

I think it's because the ones that have been entered are so good the other designers may feel they don't have a chance. I will let them know of your disappointment though.

A little birdie told me it's the illustration part they may have a problem with. Not all of them have that skill.
