We are Silver Lining Scholarship Fund. We are a counseling service that helps the unemployed and those facing financial difficulties like bankruptcy and foreclosure, regardless of their faith background. We are a bridge between the world of emotions and the busy world we live in today. The counseling we offer is faith based.

We need an identifiable logo.

Silver Lining Scholarship Fund
Bringing enlightenment & healing to the hurt

The idea: (what this represents is in parenthesis)
A tornado (suffering, unsatisfied, misery and sin)
Storm clouds (fear, greed, power)
Flower growing out of the tornado (beauty, feelings of joy and love)
Rings around the flower at top of tornado (stillness, sense of divine life, the spirit, awaken humans to their innermost beauty, their true nature)
A bird approaching flower (divine life)

We need to use a logo for all of our communications, brochure to explain what we offer, newsletter to potential clients and donate rs... as well as for web site and banners.

Design should be professional, clean, readable, inviting, not slick or flash. Need a color and black and white version.

Long term we would like to offer scholarship assistance to anyone anywhere who needs counseling and can't afford it. We would like to use the graphics on a web site and be able to collect donations online.

Hello, Design 1 has no hills on the bottom (where the lightning is) :D

We like the Pracus from a looks standpoint. We like the flower and the dove, but not feeling the tornado. It looks like the flower is sending out radio wave signals, or something. I didn't understand that we were looking at a tornado, or turbulence. Can we get a more defined tornado or a storm instead. Use your best judgement. We would like to continue working and see if we can't come up with something. I think we are so much closer.

The majority or us like the Pracus design, however these are the latest thoughts. Hope you can come up with something to help us all pull together. We are so close. Thank you for for your time.

Still don't like the tornado, it's confusing, people will not pick up on what's going on can't figure out it's a tornado,

Why not try getting rid of the tornado and just make more dark clouds, and put a silver lining in them? (I've attached a couple of pictures that might inspire our designer.)

When this design goes to black and white, the dark clouds are all white. I think we still need dark clouds in the black and white version, but with white (silver) linings to give them shape, so that people know that they are still clouds.http://C:\Users\Anita\Pictures\silverlining

I have attached a tornado although I think it needs to be flipped 180 degrees. If you just use the tornado as a guideline of where to put your ribbons I think it would work. You could try it with just using a similar tornado to see if would work.

The last one looks ok but more like a swinging ladder - not the look I am going for.
