View Full Version : How long before approval or denial?

Hello,
I applied for Designer status a few weeks ago and haven't heard back.
I'm not sure how long the process takes, and was just wondering if I was probably denied, or if my application may still be awaiting review.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Adil

Hi elements
Palmer who is the owner of the site does the selection himself and he receives 100's a week, each one he will view and see if they have the right qualities to be on the team, I'm not saying you haven't but it's just a matter of being patient and if he makes his selection you will know.
Hope that helps and good luck.
See you around
Michael

As Michael said we get several applications a week. We never send a denial letter, just invitations. The Design Team is very full right now if your specialty is logos. We honestly do not have a need right now. When we do, we look through the applications and invite 1 or 2 of the best.

I just checked and your application has a red flag. That's a good thing ;) It means you are one of the chosen ones. :D
Hang in there...

Well, twelve a day at 7 days a week, 7 x 12 is what... somewhere around 100. It wasn't an exageration :D

Hey Guys,
Thanks a lot for the info.
100+ applications weekly is a lot, I'm very glad to hear that I've been flagged :)
Oh how I regret showing you guys mainly logo's, when my specialty is web templates, and elements. I guess I assumed you were in the need for more logo designers as that is what I noticed most of the contests were for.
Anyway, thanks again. I'll hang in there and hope to be a part of the team sometime soon.
Take care!
Adil

Ooops, just noticed you're from Canada. We have reached our quota of Canadians on the team so we will have to kick one out for you to take their place. I vote for Naramation. Do I have a second on that nomination?

Yes, I'm just messing with you. Naramation is our forum techie. I couldn't do without him. We do have quite a Canadian contingent here though. Must be something good in the water (or the beer) that produces highly skilled graphic artists. :)
techie == I ban anyone who posts view that I don't agree with... muahahahaha :D
Welcome to the team :)
