Project: Logo for webstore - SofterSkinCare

Selling: highend skin care products (ie Kate Somerville, Belli, Aveeno etc.)

Payment:$500

Due:May 1st

Design: mostly text or text only logo using a thin font in small caps

At this point we don't have a lot of ideas so we would like to open it up for your ideas. The logo is everything to us right now and we need to make sure that the look fits the name (softer skin care). Our website will be using a lot of silvers and whites, with very clean lines. Soft blues may help portray a soft look. many manufacturers use small cap fonts in black (loreal paris, aveno, alloette etc.)

Target Market:Women 30-50

Looking forward to seeing what we can come up with.

We really like both of these concepts. I think I like the silver and blue as far as colors go better than the beige. Love the "swoosh". Feel free to go nuts and get creative. Mess with the S's or what ever. I love the creativity. once we start to see some more ideas come in we will be able to let you know what direction we want to take. But so far this is great stuff!

Really like #7 Version 3. I wonder if the grey/silver could be slightly darker. Keep them coming though, this is going really well.

Discussing it, we still haven't quite found it. I really like the font from post #13, love the swoosh over the I in #7. Any more thoughts?

Not a big fan of the feather at this point. Prefer the random non-discript swosh in #7, or something along those lines

I am still trying to introduce some concept that is not just a meaningless generic swoosh, but something a bit more related to the products you're going to sell, so I have this idea that may combine both abstract swoosh and something more skincare-related. So here's the idea behind this concept.. When someone opens a brand new skin cream pack, there's always this nice looking spiralling pattern on top of the cream. Something like this image. (http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/catalyst/2004/03/11/images/2004031100170408.jpg) So maybe something like that, as a metaphor for brand new, fresh, softer skin care products..

PMS cg9

Tini1 can we try this logo with the colors PMS 7549
& PMS cg9. We are pretty married to our blues and greys right now.

I like the concept of the waterdrop, #40 doesn't quite capture what we're looking for. Perhaps it could be adjusted on the "O" or could go over the "I". Again we like the concept, but this particular droplet isn't quite working.

So far this is our favorite. We like the font and the colors for the most part. We aren't in love with this blue, but so far I think it's our favorite. I would like to see it with some different "swooshes". Perhaps larger, or a water droplet, or something else all together. http://www.logoholik.com/do/logoholik_softersc_08.jpg

thanks. i'll see if i can come up with something better looking than it already is. Fyi designers are not allowed to share or upgrade to each other concept ideas (otherwise each of them would have to be awarded separately at full amount at the end), so please keep that in mind when asking for revisions. For example, water droplet is introduced by freetime, while swoosh over i is my job to develop further if possible.

Cheers,
Bojan
