For a cocktailbar in Denmark, a new logo is required.

Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo? The name "Kassen" which means "The Box"

What type of product or service do you offer? Its a cocktailbar, primarily for patrons aging 22-33 years. Our cocktailbars interiour is done with a lot of edges, sharp corners and earthly colors.

How long have you been in business? 1 year

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity? To create a logo which will be used on our menus, the sign outside the door etc. and be known for every nightlife-person in the city as the logo of Kassen.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer? The deadline is april 25.

More of the same people - a lot of people dont know our place - yet.

Framing the the name within the box,this would look great with some backlighting at the entrance or as a knockout (the grey areas transparent) on windows.

Thank you all so far for your responses - some of them are quite interesting and ill try to comment them here:

Dewa - ver 1: I like the font and the idea with a box, but the logo/name-sizes dont really work for me

Dewa - ver 2: Still a nice font, but dont really get the idea with the 4 angles.

Pracus: VERY interesting - but the font looks a bit evil. The idea could probably be refined into being one of the top most interested logos.

DraganB: The shaker is fun but a bit too obvious.

Logoholik - ver 1: Too simple an idea in my opinion.

Logoholik - ver 2: A bit more interesting - but the box is kinda hard to tell.

Radojevic: VERY interesting - but the logo "feels a bit too light". I like the idea though!

Tini1: Sorry but it doesnt really work - its hard to see the originality in the idea.

Offbeat: To simple an idea - nice font though.

Fabian: The idea is interesting, but it gives me the feeling of a prison

Dewa again: Is it boxes on top of each other?

Dewa version 4: Nice idea with the corner of a box and a K. Im not a fan of the gradient color though.

Logoholic version 3: It needs some flow in the name - to much interruption when changing "line".

Logoholic ver 5: Same as above, but credit for the glass idea. The glass needs work, it looks unnatural or badly stylized.

Logo ver 6: Interesting but reminds me of ver 1 - too simple. Like the idea with the integrated cocktail-glasses in the bottom of the S'es.

Dewa ver 5: Nice but its "THE box" and not "the boxes" - if the logo contains something resembling a box, then 1 box would be preferred.

Dewa 6: Interesting font, but the 3 stripes?

Freetime ver 1: Reminds me too much of Logoholic's version 1 - it is too simple with a black box and then the name.

J. Johnson ver 3-4-5-6: Would be a fitting logo for a weapon-factory but not a cocktailbar.

J. Johnson ver 7: really interesting - maybe a black/white?

Dewa Jaya ver 7-8: The logo would be fitting for a financial company, not a cocktailbar.

I have some minor changes that I'd like to see before we choose a final design.

The A-suggestion is what I prefer, but could you please try making a couple of layouts:

1. One where the text is raised a bit
2. One with a sliiiiightly thinner font
3. A combination of those two.
