Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
HealthySinging.com in Green (Pantone secondary green realm) in Georgia Italic, (not sure about bold - please advise), with the .com a smaller font size (If the HealthySinging were a 20, the .com would be a 14.) Green is health, prosperity, “go”, heart chakra and nature. If the designer has a brilliant alternative choice, I’m open.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? Yes, I would love a lightly washed, pastel rainbow background, not the traditional rainbow shape, just a softly graded wash, with the colors fading into each other at a soft angle. Colors including lilac; soft yellow, pink; periwinkle blue, mint green, etc.; soft/smudgy/not definite outline -- unless the designer has a more creative idea -- I’m certainly open to suggestions.
In addition to your normal files, I would like the final project to have a separate file for the name and a separate file for the background.
This will be used on both print (business cards, seminar materials, etc.) and website.
Here's the Questionnaire:

Communication Strategy:

Health, creativity, credibility, reliability, artistry, friendly, approachable, safe, they’ll be able to improve and get results.
What is your tagline or slogan? We make learning singing fun! It’s effective. The technique tools to get your voice in shape! Tune your technique skills to you!! (These are preliminary.)
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
That this is a great way to learn and solidify your singing technique. That I am credible, the methods are healthy, fun, well rounded, accessible and get successful results.
Where will your new logo be used? On the DVDs, courses, E books, business cards, perhaps promotional items; website and blog, ebooks. Both print and web.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Most of the logos I have seen are too dark, too hyped and too American Idol “in your face.” Learning to sing can be quite scary. They need to feel this will be a safe, learning environment that won’t over power them, one that they can expand into free and expressive performing. This is an educational company, aimed at musical, arty women singers.
List competitive URLs if possible I don’t really care about them.
What sets you apart from your competitors? I am EXCELLENT at what I do. I have an ability to break the foundation into easy to understand concepts, then really know how to trouble shoot to “customize” the technique for the individual. We are not about American Idol packaging -- we’re after solid, healthy foundations that will help your voice last a lifetime. We make it fun, address different learning modalities and help the singer learn to develop the awareness to know their voice, not just have it run them.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
We love to teach!
