I’ve worked with you folks on two other projects and really respect your creativity. I know you can have some fun with this one.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
1st Annual Lemos Dogtoberfest

(Note: “Lemos” is the name of our corporate sponsor. It doesn’t necessary have to precede the word Dogtoberfest.
What type of product or service do you offer?
We’re hoping to make this is an annual community event that includes a wiener dog race, Frisbee disc dog show, pet costume and talent contest, and vendors selling all kinds of pet related products. We hold it in October, hence the name Dogtoberfest. Lots of opportunities to celebrate the harvest, change of seasons, and of course Halloween. It’s all fun and wildly zany.

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
We want to have a event logo to reuse every year with a slight variation (perhaps change the breed of a featured dog?) that is recognizable with family fun. The event is a fund-raiser for several non-profit dog organizations (dog rescue, humane society dog park groups, etc)
When is the deadline for final entries? April 20th to share with our corporate sponsor.
What type of logo would you like?
We’re open to your creative ideas. It needs to work on t-shirts and letterhead to invite vendors to participate. Perhaps a combination of a photo of dog incorporating icons of the season like pumpkin, ghosts, corn stalks, etc. The first year we would like to feature a dachshund (wiener dog). It could also be a cute representation of the event name Dogtoberfest with embellishments.
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Fun, zany, good for kids

Where will your new logo be used?
Letterhead, post cards, signs, website, newspaper ads.
