Hello all,
We currently operate a website specializing in compression stockings at www.foryourlegs.com. We are in the process of establishing our new parent company Aleva Health. The site will likely be alevahealth.com. We have several domains registered and haven't yet decided on the URL. The name will be Aleva Health, however. This parent company will have a parent site linking to its subsidiary sites each specializing in niche healthcare product categories (more logos needed as we begin development next month). The other sites will then be "powered by Aleva Health" thus tying everything together without that "mall" feel found at so many sites now days.
Anyways, our demographic is mainly baby boomers. We would like a clean professional fun look. Take a look at our current ForYourLegs logo on our site at www.foryourlegs.com for assistance. The color scheme you see on our site is likely a theme we will carry throughout our other sites so try to submit ideas within that palette.
Our slogan is likely going to incorporate the word "fresh". Our industry is heavily competitive requiring us to take "fresh" looks at things and to develop niches in which we can specialize. Slogan ideas are more than welcome. Feel free to submit these with your design ideas.
Thank you to everyone for your submissions. We are excited to see your creativity at work!

Hi all. Would love to start seeing some ideas if possible? This should be an easy job given your access to our foryourlegs.com logo & established palette. Let's get 'em goin'. Thanks ;)

Guess I spoke to soon, huh? ;) Thanks Offbeat. I like the design. Clean, simple, sophisticated. If you can find a way to make it a little more fun & lively, that would be great. We like how our ForYourLegs logo has some wit to it as does our site. We like to make things fun for our customers. I'm not ruling out this submission by any means, but I'd love to see something with a "fun" side to it. Thanks again!

Perhaps incorporating something "health related" like an EKG graph line or something of the sorts. Sorry, things aren't clicking too well in my head right now. A bit of a caffeine withdrawal headache. I'll give everything some more thought.

Not a problem. Here's something a little more playful, but still connected to the ForYourLegs logo

Jennifer,
I like the logo. Could you try to better define the "A"? It is a little difficult to visualize it as an "A". Also, could you try it with some of the same colors we have at www.foryourlegs.com?

Jennifer,
I like how you chose to define the big A by tying it in appearance to the smaller more clearly defined A. Could I see your logo with the PMS 300 blue similar to our ForYourLegs.com logo? Not sure if I'm sold on your color choice. Thanks.

Offbeat. We like your v1 & v3. Any chance you could fire off a few variations on those versions. v1 is a bit too plain. Not much going on there. I like the simplicity, but would like something to catch your attention a bit more. v3 is fun. I'd like to see that version with a few different layouts (reposition things a bit).

I like it Jennifer. Thank you for the "fresh" approach. I am totally open to new ideas and am pleased with your take on this. Could you toy with a few different fonts with this one? The script font kind of makes me think of kleenex or a pharmaceutical of some sort. I like the figure, though. It humanizes the logo a bit. I'd definitely like to see this one with a different font. Thanks again!

Thank you OffBeat for your additional versions. Jennifer- we like v3 the best out of your submissions. We are all quite pleased with what you 2 have come up with. There are some definite strong contenders by both of you. If anyone else would like to take a stab, please do so. Our deadline is April 18th. We plan to make our decision on Friday morning. Thanks again to everyone. We appreciate all your efforts.

Giant, I like the concept you are trying to create. However, I'm not too sure about your execution. Could you take another stab at it?
To everyone else, we like the direction of Jennifer's v3 and OffBeat's v7. Perhaps that will help any additional submissions.
Thanks again.

We have had so many excellent submissions that have made our final decision quite difficult. We are having one more meeting Monday morning and will announce the winner at that time. I do apologize for the delay, but you can chalk that up to your excellence in design. ;)

Jennifer,
Overall, we are quite pleased with your design. We do have 2 requests:
1. Where the "EKG LINE" enters the first "A", it looks like its off a little bit. It's hitting a drop high. Could you tighten that up?
2. Could you try and once again better define the A's? Perhaps, enlarge the arrows or elongate them. Something just add a drop more definition.
Thanks!

Any idea when we could expect the files? I haven't heard from you since my last reply on 4/23/08. I was getting a bit concerned you may have forgotten. Thanks!
