Hello designers. We are having 2 orthodontists join together; Dr. William G Reynolds, DMS, MScO and myself, Dr. Michael G Weathersby, DDS, MDS.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)<o:p></o:p>
I’m not tied to any colors yet, I’m thinking of doing the office in browns, reds and tans.<o:p></o:p>

What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?<o:p></o:p>
Modern, quality, clean, professional

What is your tagline or slogan?<o:p></o:p>

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?<o:p></o:p>

http://www.wgrorthodontics.com/ (http://www.wgrorthodontics.com/)<o:p></o:p>
<o:p></o:p>
http://www.mcdanielortho.com/default.asp - simple, not much there, but seems to work for them.<o:p></o:p>
http://www.sawrieortho.com/home.asp (http://www.sawrieortho.com/home.asp) - design for children, it to is simple but ours should be designed for the mothers and parents that will use the website<o:p></o:p>
http://www.drdressler.com/ (http://www.drdressler.com/) - same as above, directed towards children<o:p></o:p>

List competitive URLs if possible

What sets you apart from your competitors?<o:p></o:p>
Quality, experience and in the new office-location

Client,
How I would suggest to run your project is start with the Logo first and then from there you can offer the print material Job to your winning Logo Designer or we can open your project up to print material concepts.

What needs to be clearly stated is how much is your Logo winner getting out of your project deposit?

Also as for your deadline is May 9th when you need to have everything complete or can we keep that deadline for your Logo winner to be announced?

If you have any further questions please let me know at a.robinson@designoutpost.co m

Thank you and talk to you soon

Thank you

Kekepania,
I like the look of your designs, but they don't seem to be quite what we are looking for. I like version 3 most and the colors you have chosen.

xpressions,
I would like to see some variations of your 2nd design. Different layouts and fonts. I like the direction of a unified logo with the A,O and smiles/brackets as well as the color.

freetime,
I don't like the direction of this design, do you have anything else?

Thank you

Thank you for the feedback. Here is a different layout and font:

xpressions,
I spoke with my partner and he likes your first design best. Can you try brackets like the second version instead of squares? Also remove the curved line at the end. Try some different variations of both designs for the logo part. The A and O could be more esthetically pleasing.

Thank you all for your ideas.

xpressions, I'm leaning towards a combination of your v.3 layout with the design of the AO in v. 2.1. I would like to see more ideas and variations of the AO in 2.1, I didn't like the look of the Oin this version. Maybe try some brush strokes fonts as well. In v1.1, we think that it looks like spire ortho because of the A and line distracting us from seeing Aspire. Try to use the A design with a sperating vertical line and the full Aspire ortho text.

taldo, i'm looking for a logo that can stand on its own and still represent aspire, ortho and smiles.

keke,
I like v.4, but it is still misssing something. Can you tweak the design?

outbeat, thanks for the designs but also not what we are looking for.

Thank you. I will work on the revision and post up soon.

xpressions, could you try a design where the O is not on top of the A?

To all designers, we would like to see more designs where the logo is separate from the Aspire Orthodontics. I think it looks best out to the left, but I would love to see your ideas.

Thanks

Here is one revision. On the other version, you mention brush stroke type font, do you mean just for the icon or for the text?

xpressions,
Congrats, we have chosen your deisgn 1.3.

I would like to try some different color schemes and see how this looks on letterhead and business cards using a water mark with the A only.

Thanks
