hey skyvee, thanks for creating that logo! I don't like the colors, but I like the way you mad uh bolder than the other letters. Instead of blue could you use yellow? I've attached a file called webinale.jpg which has the type of yellow I have in mind. I also think that the z looks a bit sharper than the other letters although i like the concept of that letter standing out, could we make it sorter around the edges and also put the tail of it behind the letters i and n? I like the first one, i've asked a few people and they get the sense that the grey doesn't stand out enough. Is there anyway we could make the grey blend /transition in with the green? Could you use an i for this instead of an !?

This is my favorite from you xpressions. I did not like all the other ones after this as much. Can we make the bottom part of the g the same width as the top part? and have a full gradient like the version 1 of the logo u made for stak? and perhaps try something new like put the ! after the whole word?

The only suggestions I have is see different colors of it. And one more version of it where the ! is replaced with an i, but the dot of the i the same color as the uh with an ! after the word.

xpressions, I like it a lot better now the last one the ! Is thinner and matching up with the h. I don't know what it is about the font giant is using, but I kinda like that font better. Maybe its because your font isn't as round? Like there's edges whereas his is smooth?

I would have to say version 8 looks the best, but I don't want that star shape there, can u get rid of those triangle edges and just let the spiral go into a circular shape? Hey giant, that's awesome! Exceeding my expectations. Can we do one variation of this and one more concept I have in mind? I would like the ! In this one to be much better becuase its haed to see the difference between the ! And the spirals. Secondly, can you make a variation of that without the icon and its background? The other concept I had in mind was having a figure hold the ! sign after the word, somewhat like standoutjobs.com's logo. Thee figure could either be in an icon or none.

hey giant, here's some feedback,

v10, i like the yellow more than the orange, let's stay with the yellow. the only thing i didn't like was having the gray as the bg. maybe a lighter grey or silver? can we try making the dot of the ! like a lightish blue? that's how the pictures of galaxies seem to have it like, or maybe the whole ! and make the top part of the ! thicker and wider.

v14 - i like this better than 11, 12 and 13, think the figure is too big, i want something inbetween what you have and what they have on digg.com, something with the same height as the letters, i like the height and size of the !.

I like b the most, let's stick with the design of b, but make a version of it with yellow instead of blue. Let's only keep the gradient on the ! and the dot of the i, leave the letters plain.

Another version I want is what I just mentioned but invert the icon so that the swirl is grey and the outer part is white, and add a gradient to the swirl.

I like the size and color of the !, but I don't like the figure, what I had in mind was more a smaller figure holding the big !

Can you make a smaller figure no more than the height of the h holding that big !?

Can we also try, putting a smaller figure within the swirl? it's your call on how it should look but how would it look if you combined all those features? like a figure at the center of a galaxy holding a big !

Please stick with version 17, add the size of the ! from v19 and just fix up the edges of the long ones, no need to add more spirals, i like the gaps in there. It's not necessary for them to fit into a square icon.

Alright, I think i'm fine with just using the letters for the word uhmazing. I don't like the figure next to the word, and having a spiral in the middle of the word is weird. The thing is I didn't know what to have in the logo until you started making the spiral shapes and than the ! and it's becoming much more clear what should be in the logo. As the site's going to be pretty big with alot of users and alot of information as it's a social bookmarking website it should look like a galaxy, and all the content on the website should be emphazied but bursts or !'s. I'm looking more for something like this with the spiral galaxy type but with some sort of burst coming out of it, like an ! or maybe even several !'s,

I didn't like the swirl much for this one as it's just like cricles within circles whereas in version 21 u can cleary see swirls,
Could you use the swirl from version 21 tilt it or rotate it down flat and have !'s bursting out of it like it were water drops

I really like this concept that combined your ideas. I want two revisions of this,

version a - could you fix this up by adding your touch to it, it seems like it's just a figure with an ! it doesn't seem like it's holding it, maybe just make some nice transition effect with colors that makes it seem more like it's holding it? Please do something with the glow in the whole center of the spiral, make it brighter. The splash, I like the splash but it's like the same color as the spiral, it adds a nice shape but how about just use that shape as a lighting effect?

Some suggestions for you:
Don't you know, you add to much element to the logo.
"!", human, splash/spark, spiral, and of course the text.
that can make the logo very2 overweight...the logo can easy recognize from the crowd element, but hard to explain.
The good logo is easy to look, fast to recognize, and have simple explain.... :)

I really like version 27, but u are also right that is has too much element such as the sparks overlapping the spiral and its feet doesn't look aligned properly within the spiral. I also really like version 29. the figure just seems a bit odd to me. Is there something you can do, like a cross between the figure from 27 and 29?

I love how you added the glow at the center, keep that. The sparks are great as well, maybe a little thinner and lighter like in version 27?

Nice! The top sparks of 32 doesn't seem to be the same length as the ones in 31, i want them all to be the same length have the same curl.

I meant align it so that they're the same height (words same height as maybe up to the figure's head) and not overlapping each other.

Add the pacman like mouth back on the head that you had in version 11. Can you change the sparks on the left, make them match up like the right arm the sparks are going the same direction as its holding a ! while the left arm is going down.

Hey I know you're getting tired of this, so, no more new concepts. Just coloring it.

lets make a revision of 43b,

1) take out the sparks
2) make the spirals slightly darker but not as dark as 43a, add little square or circular dots to each spiral to make the look and feel like a spiral made up of stars but not too obvious that they are stars.
3) the figure, instead of grey please make it yellow like version 20, the arms, keep it the same as in 43b, make the ! silver like the text in here http://enjay2nine.deviantart.com/art/Gridiron-U-Splash-56921963, shiny and stands out like it's a comet that's melting. and make one version but the figure silver and the ! yellow.

text all leters make yellow like version 20 and one with silver

and one more with the letters greenish colored and with the gradient of this image

let's keep 47d, make the size the same as 42, add the bursts back, make them silver keep the sparks and the figure's color solid like 42, just add the light effect on the bottom like 42. make the light effect on the head and the ! the same as 42. I noticed on http://enjay2nine.deviantart.com/art/Gridiron-U-Splash-56921963 there seems to be a lighter border around each shape, can you keep the gradient on the letters consistent and add the border? maybe make it a linear gradiet?

Please take off the gradient from the letters, make all the letters the same as the 'u' from version 47.

Get rid of the white dots on the spirals.

Maybe make the silver color on the figure and sparks a little darker because it seems that the sparks are missing the gradient like in version 48.

a) make one with the sparks silver and the figure grey as the old versions
b) make one with the sparks grey and the figure silver

This project is taking too long because it started without a concept, and you have made many many ideas from scratch, and i like the icon and the letters. Here's what I like and I just want to have a logo that consists of an icon next to the letters that actually look proportionate like you see in so many other logos.

the letters and colors are from version 3.1, i got rid of the right part from the z and i

I need,

a) make the logo proportional with the letters somewhat like how these logos are,

first pick would be like favoor, if the icon needs to be modified because it contains too many elements and just won't look right it was smaller then go ahead, as long as it expresses some figure holding a symbol that symbolizes excitement, you can make it like version 47 where you took off the sparks but if you do that please also move the figure down more into the spiral like this,

this seems to cut down on the amount of elements in the logo as you said it's too much. notice how there are mini sparks there but only in that gap in the middle of the spiral would be nice to have them a little longer. would also be nice if the bottom tip of the figure somehow merged with the right begining spiral. you can also put a square/circualr/icon shape over the icon like version 9 if that helps.

b) make sure the grey on the spirals match the grey on the letters, make sure the orange on the head and the ! match the orange on the letters. I also like how the top half of the favoor logo is lighter than the bottom and how it's not really a gradient, add some sort of gradient to the head. If you can add some reflection on the letters that would be great too

version 54 just looks plain without the sparks, however I like how you added the glow on the right of the figure and the colors of the spiral and the height of the figure (not too short not too tall) as well as how the bottom of the figured connected with the spiral.

can you add that glow to 53, use the same figure height, same colors/shading for the spiral and connect the bottom of the figure to the spiral and add the light shade on the top of the letters? I like the size of the icon and the letters in 53 so let's keep that the same.

can you also make 52's icon and letters the same size as as 53 and use the same figure height, same colors/shading in the spiral from 53 as well as make the bottom of the figure connect to the spiral and add the light shade on top of the letters?

Please fix up the sparks on the left side as you can barely see them (coming out of the spiral), make the transition of the bottom of the figure with the spiral more, i dunno round? like a genie coming out of a lamp where the bit of the spiral is pushing the figure up. Make less of a shade on the right of the figure, the shade on the letters, i like how you made it up and down, can you leave it like it is on the uh then all the way down on the maz and back up on the ing? Can you also make the ! a bit thicker?

I like version 62 the best, the letters and icon are fine now, no more changes to them, only want some colors and lighting effects.

I mentioned once that i wanted some fixed pattern on the spiral, but it was hard to explain, pretty much something like this instead of dots all over the spiral just dots like in a halftone pattern effect in ps. I don't want it to look exactly like that but that's the idea. Use that as a lighting effect or some sort to make it appear that the spiral is made up of those dots.

I really like 69 and 70

the only changes I have is to make the right spirals look more like it's coming from in the center for both versions

on version 70 just make the curve shade go up after the i instead of the z, so high curve on uh, goes down on mazi, goes back high on ng, on get rid of the color on the head of the figure, just keep it light grey

I like the width of the letters on 71 as it seems more porportional to the icon but the letters seem so plain?

The spirals on the right just need to be linked with the ones on the left, i think we didn't notice that because we had sparks there before.
