version 4 gives me the sense of "two", but nothing related to photography.

i would like to see a graphical design aside from the text "STAK photographers"..

I'm starting to really like the direction that we are going in now, especially the last few designs by Giant & Skyvee. Thank you.
Can we expand the ideas, and possibly try some different fonts? I would like if possible to see if we can spice it up by making it look more "mature" or "sophisticated." Possibly more design, texture, graphics around the design? You guys know more than me.

Even some new creative ideas will be great to see too.

I will start from the top.

Offbeatdesigns - It looks nice, but it looks too simple & plain for what i have in mind. The stacked Stak one is the best from the group, but I am not sure how a vertical logo would be used across many different mediums. May run into compatibility problems.

Carol - This one is appealing to me. I'm glad we are going in the right direction now: Text with some graphic / design element as well. Now to me, this looks a bit "indian." It might be the font.

Can we please see more designs going in the similar direction that Carol took it. Text + Graphic & Illustration

I am looking for a logo where I can also pull out 1 piece of the logo and use it as well to identify us.

Offbeat - Thank you for those designs. It doesn't feel quite right to me though.

Giant - Thank you, I think it's a cool idea, but a bit hard to read IMO. Your previous designs were very elegant and professional looking, but didn't look like a "photographer" to me

Carol - I really like your version 2 design and idea. Would it be possible to see it with an alternative font? I think that logo is cute, unique, and was designed for photographers.

All, I purposely did not comment for a couple of days, because i wanted the logos to sink in a little with me.

Carol - It's funny, i tend to like the script version more, my partner likes your new version more. I really do like the direction you are going in, it's cute, creative, original. Very nice. Is there a way we can continue to grow and expand on this idea and logo design? Maybe if we can see a couple more versions with different fonts? Also is there a way we can "ground" the logo more (i am not sure if this makes sense) and although I do like it how it is, I also think it looks a little like it's floating around, maybe we can give it a more concrete feel? Well it's up to you, you are the creative genius here. But we would love to see a few more versions and playing around with the same idea.

Giant - Your Version 5 logo appeals to me more than the earlier versions. I say these type of ideas are better than splitting up the name Stak (even though that is very cool too). But I like the direction Carol is going in a lot with a cute, playful graphic and nice text.

For both Giant and Carol, can we add some type of a slight "magic" touch to these logos, maybe a sparkle or something that has a "magical feel"?

Carol - We really like the direction you are going with. would like to see another graphic besides the 2 wavy characters to compare as another option. Also, with the latest version, may we see the same logo with more vibrant punchy colors as well. The color shades you selected are very nice, but I'm worried that if we build a site around those colors it won't be colorful enough

Giant - I like your graphics, however the ones you posted so far, look too technical. More suited for a computer company in my mind.

NHR - I would like softer colors, with a different graphic.

Giant, How about Version 2 please with different colors, def not the gray, i think that's a good one but the colors are throwing me off. Also the T looks a little bit too much like a hospital sign to me. not sure why

here's a comment a friend had, i thought it would be valuable insight

"i really think Version 2 could have some potential for unique branding. i think i could really like this one. the "cross" can having many meanings....."crossing paths" , "helping someone (like the american red cross) so it's a universal symbol, the whole focus cross hatch thingy going on.....i think this could be a great logo."

Right now, they all look just a tad too playful, some folks see the logo and think I shoot children.

Maybe a slimmer font would help in that ?

Off Beat - Out of all of those, I like V 13 the best, but it's not really the look we are going for, i'm not sure if i would want to break up the word as of now like that.

Carol - As much as I like this one, and i really do, I think it's slightly too "elegant" and maybe even "old".. maybe we can tweak it somehow to look a little more modern. Looking for High-End, Professional, Modern, Cutting Edge, wedding photographers. I think Carol the colors should be a bit more vibrant and colorful, since most of our photos are colorful.

Thoughts? Is there a way we can make it more clear what it says, yet still keep the same concept? Would a capital T work? maybe worth a try?
