I'm starting a new company and brand to export Wine to China and Asia.
The main brand will be USWine.Asia for both print and web. The customers viewing the brand are US Wineries that want to sell in Asia as well as Asian partners looking to purchase wine (food service and retail). The text in the logo should be USWine.Asia. Though we will likely have it in Chinese as well, it's not necessary for that in the design (i'll have that done in China).
For design considerations, future projects will include:
In addition to a logo we will want to "sticker" the wine bottle with the logo and integrate the .Asia domain into the sticker. We want to use that logo. The sticker will go above the main logo and below the neck of the bottle. The goal is a "master" brand. So it's likely it will require two lines - to stack. The outside of the logo would be the outside of the sticker.
The demographic of the Chinese consumer is an appeal to disposable income, Western appeal, high end branding.
US needs to be understanded, vs Wine and .ASIA
