Hi,
I’m looking for a new look! I am an artist that works in the digital & fine art arena. I guess I could illustrate my own logo and identity like I’ve done for the past 15 years....But what fun would that be! I need a logo that will encompass the digital and fine art arena with a little grunge to it. I work allot with record labels, but do advertising for 26 fairly mainstream magazines. So it has to be Not too corporate - Not to Rock Star. IT HAS TO BE DIFFERENT! I would like my name: Anthony Conti and Serial Innovator to be in the logo. I look forward to seeing your ideas!

Excuse me interrupting as a non-designer, but this would seem to be an incredibly interesting thread to follow.. good luck and I look forward to viewing entries in this contest.
Here's one idea to get things started...

Great Design Pennyln! You have skillz! I think I need something with a bit more edge to it. It has to be able to cross boundries. If I am dealing with BlackCat Records (Punk Label) or if I am sumitting to Phoenix Home & Garden Mag. It has to scream SERIAL INNOVATOR.

Now it’s starting to get interesting! I love this stuff....CALLING ALL DESIGNERS...Can’t wait to see how the designs develop....remember Rock Star/Corporate combination! All the designs have been great so far…All of you have Skillz! It would be cool to have a design that would stand alone without the name if necessary. :D

Bill,
I really like the first one with the sticky label look. Maybe you could incorporate some type of visual icon to slap that on.....

Hi everyone,
The designs are incredible! I think we are going in the right direction. Gilles Le Bon, my last name is spelled Conti. I really like your design maybe just play with that idea a bit and come up with some more abstract aspects to the design. Raja, I like the last one with the brush painting the letters. Can you make the AC look more like brush strokes maybe filtering off into pixels? I also was thinking about a rubber stamp look…almost like a passport stamp???? Just thinking out loud…..

does this file have to be a vector?

It would probably be best as a vector....But I'm up for anything creative.

Hi Bill,
I like them but I want something a bit more illustrated. Here are two examples of what I am going for. If we can get close to this look using an art theme....We got it...

Where have I seen those logos before they look like Jeff Fishers work but don't think they are <_<

Mute, why don't you put up some of your original design work so that designers can get a feel for your very own unique & true style.
Hi Anthony,
Here's my stab at it....

Hi,
Mark, that’s what I'm talking about...More of a crest (kind Of) anyway the logos I posted are from Mires Design, the illustrator was Tracy Sabin. They kick *** with her doing their illustration! Here are two of my designs...The first is a Minnie done for a gallery in Scottsdale and the other two are for clubs in Las Vegas. I do a lot of Vegas stuff. Anyway, You can see some of the CD covers on the Mute Design site (www.mutedesign.com) I think Mark is on the right track...it needs to be a piece of "art" on its own...not just my name as a logo... I need to end the contest soon because I have a showing coming up in NJ, and would like to have the design printed on the next batch of canvas prints I send out to Colorado.
Thanks for All Your Talent!!!

Ryan,
I like the bottom one, keep it just like that but can we add something around the outside so it does not look so much like a doughnut. What font is that? Love the pin up and the grunge/retro mix.
