OK Here goes my second contest. The first one was a great success.

Here we are looking for a logo that will be the identity for the company from letterhead to t-shirts to sponsorship banners, etc.

The company was originally planned to be Green Systems, Inc. until our incorporator either stole our name or made a mistake when they said the name was available....so we had to change it to Green Systems America Inc. We would like to keep the America part lower key since we want to be Green Systems Inc.

Our web site can be found at My Webpage (http://www.greensystemsinc.com)

We will be specializing in commercial and residential landscape and building maintenance but using environmentally friendly practices and techniques. We will also be working with builders to help them design and build in a more environmentally resposible manner. Such as green materials, tree saves, innovative design and building practices, etc.

We will also be designing and building habitat replacement projects like wetlands, forests, ponds, etc.

We will also do education, mapping and permitting. And advise on alternative energy sources and recycling pratices.

Our clients will be builders, developers, building owners, homeowners associations, some general public, commercial shopping centers and office buildings and municipalities.

Thanks in advance for all of your hard work!

Very nice penny.....and first again!!

I have no idea what type of logo I want for this firm, but I think you are on the right track. I think it need to show something about development and maybe some water.....not sure though........I will know when I see it...I hope!

That rotational thing is cool but a little hard to read and may be confusing.

Penny...I like the one with the tree...maybe make America smaller than the other text.

Disturb..I like yours too ....can you add some development into the background landscape picture?

Ryan,

It is growing on me...no pun intended. Everytime I page by it, it catches my eye.

The leaf is good.

I am trying to downplay the america part and give the feel of environmenta and development.

I was hoping to end this contest on Sunday but it looks like this company has not really inspired anyone like my previous contest. I have not seen anything that combines the environmental aspects and the development aspects of this company. The most interesting logo so far is the one that is the same upside down but I am not sure that this gets the message across.

Any designer comments? Any questions?

Sorry Everyone I have been out of the loop. I have been busy travelling for work and no time to comment.

El Kootcho I really like the concept of your logo but the buildings look like cartoons. maybe a shorter building and a house casting the shadow??

Everyone else...I appreciate all of your great ideas! I will make a decision this weekend.

Hello,

Here's my entry to your contest. It's an idea addapted from one of my previous designs, I hope it represents somehow what you need. I've tried to mix residential and commercial buildings, trees, pond.. Tell me if you want changes to this first design.

Best regards,
Gilles

THANK YOU EVERYONE!! I met with my business partner and some of our employees today and voted.

Gilles came in a close second to ElKootcho #2

Congrats ElKootcho.

I must say that everyone was impressed with all of the designs and although we all felt that Gilles told it ALL it just would not be practicle for shirts, letterhead, etc.

ElKootcho's tree shadow was excellent and everyone was torn but we think the simpler #2 was a better fit for our needs.

THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!
