The name of our young adult program is...

The FLOW

Our slogan is:

Moving with Jesus in a Whole New Way

The concept behind the program is to reach those that are 19 to 29 with the idea that this is not your traditional "parents church".

It is not neccessary for the slogan to be incorperated into the logo.

Looking for creative innovative ideas...

The deadline is Nov 20th 2003

There is an award of 95.00 for the project.

:) Good initial effort. I'm looking to go a little "unconventional" I know there are alot of elements between the slogan, name, and its intendend audience to pull on. And I don't want to lock your creative thinking down by picking just one of them either. So I will limit my reply to just that one word... "Unconventional" and trust in your creativeness.

wow, there is just so much room for creativity with that rev.. my mind is filled with all sorts of images at the thought of what you are wanting..
you could take,,,, evolutionary or biblical garden of eden to revelations judgement day or use a music impressions timechart theme.. good vs evil... facing reality...seeing the truth through the pressures.. as I said.. wow... lot's of things.

sorry to interrupt your competition, but you have such a great subject and target market, I thought I would pop in and say hi :P
Good luck with it, I will be watching, quietly - just out of interest.

Jon you'll need to save it as a jpeg and post it on the forum. We need to be able to see the entries.

Thanks

Mark, I like the concept of the swirl with the hand. Can it be done a little more "East Coast", if that makes sense. I moved out here the West Coast and would have to say that it would work really well in that enviroment. The young adults here are college age 19 to 30 and like the more hip, eclectic, look. Great effort however, and thank you for joining this project.

Hi revdkilborn,
Could you tell me what parts of the logo you would like me to change? ie. Oval, color, etc... Also, I'm in Canada, so the East coast here would be newfoundland (celtic, etc). I'm not sure where you're from, but I'm guessing you're referring to New York as far as East coast goes?

Thanks
Mark

In addition Reverend, plese post your comments on the forum, not privately since that is against the rules.

Thanks :)

 Sorry about that... Mark, New Jersey to be exact. Bolder colors thicker lettering... I'm not feeling the oval, but I can not say what backdrop for the swiral would work. I trust your creative abilities... I just need to move from the rural to the city. I hope this helps... To reference an earlier post, "I'm looking for unconventional".

 Mark these are looking very cool... Could you take the last design (dark green, centered "the," over the light green shadow) and write the slogan "Moving with Jesus in a Whole New Way", under the graphic. :D Also, could you show a version with the hand having the same kind of fade as in the previous versions.

Mark

Here's a few alternatives. :D

Mark, It's coming together... :) The center logo is the one that I like, but I would like to move the faded green hand to it, and is there another font for the word "FLOW". I like the stamped font for the background and the slogan, but would like to see something else for up front. Your doing a teriffic job, Thanks.

Mark

Here's the change with font alternatives... :)

revdkilborn
10-29-2003, 07:30 AM
Mark, I like the font in the center logo design, could you show it without the slogan making "the," the same font as the main text, and also, a version with the background font as the main text, but keep the slogan design as is. Also, when I print the design in color the background gets washed-out. (it is a high quality color copy/printer on glossy paper). One final thing, and thank you so much for your energy, is it possible to make the swiral the background somehow clean and intergrated like your two logo designs (sokkit-for the font) and the (bnis) somehow with the swiral. :brow:

DisturbReality, I would really like to do away with the water element.

Hi revdkilborn,

I've made the lighter green bkgrnd slightly darker so hopefully it prints. Also, let me know if I'm on the right track with the other two? :)

;) Mark, I like where your going with the cleaner more coorperate look of the design. I liked how you brought the company name and design together for the uprosper contest you won, congrats. on that by the way. Could you explore this avenue a little more with the swiral, keep up the great work I apperciate it.

Mark, I very much like the first and last one. On the last design can you put the swirl in a box with rounded edges both flat like you have it and tilted like in one of your previous versions. Also showing them as the are, and with the slogan.
Thank you very much. :)

Mark, great work :D :D This is... the final stretch. Can you show on one page: The design on your most current submission that is at the bottom on the left (blk/wht) w/and w/out slogan, also, I would like to see that same design in the (blk/grn) color layout as the one directly to the right of it. I would also like to see the first design of the four in this layout that you submitted, w/ and w/ out slogan. And... :) Can you give me a version that has the box to the left and lettering to the right with the words stacked and "the" in small caps. Whew!!!! Thank you so much for all your great and hard work....

 That's all Mark... again thank you for the same creative energy and work on this project, like the other. So... without any further adieu. Mark is... the WINNER of this contest B) You can send all the files to the same address as before I would also like one with the large clean font to have the slogan in the same font.
