Hi Paula! Thanks for giving my project a go:-) I love the font you chose and how you spelled it out. The scale with paw prints does not do a lot for me. I was thinking of a cute fat dog on a scale maybe?
Another thought was from a TV commercial I saw once. The dog was running, and as it did it got thinner.

BTW I am still promoting ZoneDogs.com and love the logo you did for it. I just want to separate my fat dog camp from my fitness site.

imot thanks for submitting a design! I really like it a lot. Can you try a couple of things for me though? Can you make the dog have spots more like dalmatian might have? Also can you change the g's so I can see a different look?

Imot thanks for doing a spotted dog. I like your original dog better so lets scrap the spots. Can you change the font? I don't like the g's . I want something really easy to read. I don't care for g's with o for the bottom part.

Really helps to convey the message. The dog works well in color but not so much in black and white. Can you show me a cute dog sitting on a scale instead of one holding a flag? Keep it in the same space though. Thanks for joining my contest!

Titania FYI I was looking through past projects and came across this logo you did ( version 3) http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14588&page=2 the client chose another one of your submissions. I really like the scruffy look of the dog. In the black and white version I thought it was a little too black but still really liked it. The head and face are great. Maybe you could fatten him up? :)

Hi everyone...I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your help with this project! My PR firm finally gave me some feedback today so I need to extend the contest deadline for my project to Sunday July 6th. First they would like to see some more entries. Second a couple of the designs they liked but wanted to know if the designer had any any other ides too. I will post that info to each designer in a minute. So that is where things stand today.

Giant and Paula23 do you have any other ideas? They thought the designs were ok but not awesome. Giant they liked your font but not the dog. Paula23 they thought the dog was not memorable enough. If you want to rework them that is fine. If you have another concept please do share.

Bill.... they liked your dog but they were not entirely crazy about the running part. I like it though. But the really fat dogs we have to workout in a pool most of the time to start. Then we move onto the treadmill. Then biking, roller skating or walking. They worried that the people who had dogs with bad legs, etc would not even bother to call me because I might make their dog run. Silly but that is what they said. So would you mind trying something else with him?

Just want to say thanks to everyone that entered my logo contest. It is always fun to see what you guys dream up and can put on paper. Really amazing. I wish I had drawing skills. But I don't so that is why I keep coming back here. As well as referring others to this site. Someday I hope to try to have something other than a logo created. Maybe a web site template? Hmm..

After much debate, and back and forth with my PR firm...
I am going to end the contest now and go with Bill as my designer.
I think his concept is very easy to read and really does convey my company's overall message well.

Hi Bill sorry it took me a few days to get back to this project.
With the color version the .tv is gray so it does not stand out very much. It looks "ok" in the black and white version though. Would you mind playing with the font for a few minutes more ? I really would like the .tv to "pop" in both versions. Thanks!

Hi Bill I never got an email from the site that you posted. Strange.
So that is why I am just not getting back to you. Sorry for the delay.

Anyhow can you make the word fat a bit thicker to convey fatness? Not sure if it would work or not but could you give it a go please?
Also I have seen a few other sites do a similar thing with the tv screen like tini1 did in her design. I think that is a great way to convey the .tv domain ext. Can I see what your version of that would look like?
