Hi Everyone!!!!

Here is the first of a few projects that I'm currently working on:

Firm Name: "The Firm LLC"

No Website at the moment - under development

Deliverables:

A logo design in a resizable vector format and jpeg. Also, 16x16 and 32x32 icon versions of the graphic image used.

What text should be included in the main part of the logo?

“The Firm, LLC”

Do you have a company tagline/slogan? If so, should it be included in the logo?

The tagline is “Alternative Dispute Resolution for Complex Commercial and Construction Disputes” - Do NOT include in the logo.

What type of product or service do you offer?

Attorney – Alternate dispute resolution services. Acting as a mediator or arbitrator.

How long have you been in business?

30+ years

Please describe your existing audience:

Other attorneys seeking an arbitrator or mediator for their client – some potential clients directly (few). Attorneys validating information and credentials.

What style of logo would you like? eg. Web 2.0, Clean, Professional etc

Some words to key on: Understated, Professional, Conservative, Serious, Experienced, Capable, Ready – Use acronym or name in a creative way etc.

Do you have any colours in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

Not sure – nothing super bright or overly flashy - understated, Calming, Non-confrontational, Subdued

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

No…but prefer no scales of justice, gavel or other tired law symbols.

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

Experienced, credible, professional, capable etc.

Where will your new logo be used?

New website, collateral and more.

What sets you apart from your competitors?

Extensive experience, well-renowned, trusted

State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your product:

See tagline above

Thanks in advance for your creative work and I look forward to seeing some great stuff!!

Best Regards,

ESG

Hi everyone,

Thanks to all for their posts. Sorry for the lack of feedback last week. I was on vacation with limited e-mail/Internet access.

I just raised the project up to to $300.

Kekepania:
Good start, can we change Post #2 large cursive font to something more masculine? Post #3 has the f crossing the R which suggests to me a Rx as in a prescription. Could you take another shot at it?

Offbeat:
I like your approach. Any other variations that you may want to propose will be appreciated. I want to get a larger sample at this point but like your first cut.

Freetime:
While I like the concept, my mind keeps trying to resolve the conflict of having the F Before the R when the order in the name (The Reid Firm) is actually R then F. Any other cool ideas you may have will be much appreciated.

Best to all,

ESG

Thanks for the updates. I'm waiting to see some more designer's examples before I narrow the field.

Freetime, thanks for the updated v3. This still doesn't hit the mark though. You may want to try a different approach.

Thanks,

ESG

Offbeat/Freetime,

Thanks for adding more to the mix. 15,16 and 17 have real potential.

I'm still hoping to get a few more ideas from other designers before narrowing down the choices and deciding.

Any other designers interested in getting involved?

Thanks again to you 2 for putting some good stuff together.

Best,

ESG

All, I plan to have some feedback early next week so we can narrow this down.

Kekepania,

I got some feedback finally! Can you provide #9 in a few varieties of darker blue? I should be able to move foward on one of those color choices.

Thanks,

ESG

All,

Thanks to everyone that participated. Really good choices and as always, you all did super work.

I have decided to go with Kekepania's post #33 a.

Kekepania, I'd like to get all the standard formats (jpegs, vector etc.) in color and b&w. I'd also like 16x16 and 32x32 icons just of the " blocked R" only.

Thanks!
