Hi all this contest is for an 8.5x11 magazine ad. I have to pick a winner by Thursday so please enter right away.
All the content and graphics can be found in this file:

Please make the writing on the chalkboard look like it's written in chalk and that it is written on the board. Put a + sign to the left of 'Award winning support'. Put and = sign to the left of $450 million. The idea is that the writing on the chalk board
Make the line under 'Award winning support' thicker and move it down a bit. Keep the white section at the bottom white or very light gray. You can add a very light design to the background of the white section if you want.
Thanks.

Feedback time, you all have the chalk looking realistic. I'd like to make the writing on the chalk board a bit bigger though.
Guetizo, your design disappeared, your chalk looks good but can you pick a font that's a bit cleaner. Also text in the lower have could be bigger and bolder.
Nuts, see my comments about making the chalk writing bigger. Not crazy about the yellow headers :)
Krishm, i would also try to make your chalk font bigger and more visible.
Most of you have the top half look pretty good but the bottom is a bit plain.

General comment: I don't think that I like having the corners cut out of the blackboard, because it makes it look less like a blackboard.
Nuts the colors are the bottom are a bit too extreme :) You could try just having a light green to white gradient in the background.

Nuts, the top looks good although maybe you could try a font that's a bit easier to read. For the green gradient at the bottom, can you try a shade of green that's closer related the green in the chalkboard or our logo?
Krishm, try making the white section stand out a bit more by adding more a light gradient to the background. The chalkboard text could still stand out more.
Thanks.

Krishm, i'd also make the chalkboard section a bit bigger.

Krishm, i would work on making your chalkboard text more visible yet. Try to make the bottom stand out a bit more by adding more of a gradient fade into the background.
Guetizo, it's looking better. Try to make the bottom stand out a bit more by adding more of a gradient fade into the background.
Nuts, I would remote the white line above the quote. Make the quote stand out more than the contact info. Lighten the green at the bottom of the gradient a bit.
Thanks.

Krishm try removing the white border at the bottom of the chalkboard or make it a lot thinner. Your chalk text could be moved down a bit.

By the way, the final add size should be W 8.625” X H 11.125” with the bleed.

Krishm, try removing the angles from footer and the chalkboard. Removing the angle from the chalkboard will give you more room for the chalk text.

Nuts I would remove the white line above the quote. You could also make the blackboard section come down a bit further -- shift the paragraph and logo down a tad. Can you try a few other shades of green? That green seems a bit different from the logo/blackboard.

Guetizo, can you try making the chalk font just a bit neater? Also krishm and Guetizo can you add checkmarks to the bullets above the plus sign. Krishm, try to make the paragraph below the chalkboard stand out a bit more by making it bold or something.
I'll try to narrow the contest down after this round and will pick a winner tomorrow.
