View Full Version : Get the Scoop! - Logo for a Student Ministry Event

Hey everybody... I need a logo for an event for my Student Ministry... it's called "Get the Scoop!" and it's a monthly event where newcomers and people who want to know more about us show up at Friendly's for some free cake and ice cream, get some free gifts and learn about who we are.

I would like the logo to look like something from an Ice Cream Shop maybe... it should read

"Get the Scoop!" (In large letters ... note the exclaimation point.)
and then "Community of Hope Student Ministry" (in small letters somewhere)

I will be attaching the Friendly's Logo for reference and our own Student Ministry logo as well...

This logo will be on print, web, banners, and signs... and it needs to be in a vector format also a layered format that I can play with. And I need a color and B&W version.

Looks good, can you change the red font to green? Also maybe add a piece of cake somewhere to see how it looks?

I'm not feeling that design... everything seems too spaced out from each other... Maybe play with it a little more.

We're almost there...

Drop the cake... I think it looks better with just the scoop of ice cream...

the word "The" in get the scoop... instead or orange can you make it more yellow? And if possible change the font for Community of Hope Student Ministry... to something a little more block style and enlarge it just a little...

Sorry Jon,

That design doesn't work... I just looks too much like clip art mixed in with fonts I already have on my computer... no offense, I'm just looking for something a little more.

Silly Question: Does the chocolate ice cream now match the logo? (color-wise) Would vanilla or chocolate chip or something match better? I'm just asking from a designer's perspective.... Thanks

That's a great design! Thank you to everyone else who submitted a design...

Bill, I'm going to ask around about the color of the scoop of ice cream, and then I'll email asap so that you can send me the eps vector file...

I'll also need it in a black and white form for printing...

Alrighty PennyLN,

I think we're going with the Chocolate chip icecream version.... (but would it be possible for you to send other versions anyway? Maybe the Chocolate, and try a Strawberry Color?

Either way, you can send the file to wayne@communityofhope.org

and I need it in a vector file, that also has layers that I can play with and a pure black and white file (no gradient)
