Hi Folks.

I need a 2 sided, 6” X 11” mailer designed for an event I’m hosting. We have other marketing materials (posters, flyers etc) we are using and would like this project to have a similar look (it needs to be very apparent it’s the same event) I'll post additional info and graphic files as I receive them.

We would like the front to be as visually impactfull as posible. We are thinking about changing the image of the women we have on our other marketing materials so feel free to experiment with different images and place holders. We will also be changing the colors for this event so you don't have to use green but brown is our signature color so we'd like to see that color used.

There’s a lot of information that has to go on it but we’re would like (at least the front of) it to look as uncluttered as possible. Feel free to leave off some information if it starts to look too busy. We will let you know if you’ve left off anything vital.

I've noted which side I think the info should be on but also feel free to do what ever you think works best. You guys are the experts :)

Approximately 6-8 can have border or not but we need to know exactly how where they would go. The flyer can be horiz or vertical. We're really looking for your idea on how this can go. Spotlight can also be in the front if there is too much text on one side.

I really like your layout. A couple of little things:
can you move the birth and baby fair up next to the maternity xchange logo and move the sponsors below. Calhospital compare must be more emphasized as they are main event sponsors, so maybe the lettering of "presented by" can be larger than "sponsored by"

Can we put "The San Francisco" part on top of the title? It seems a little lost on the side.

I think we can lose the cal hospital compare lettering and just have the logo take up that space as well.

It's a little bit busy but we liked that you used the curve to link our materials.

Our logo should be smaller.

right now it looks like there are three columns of text. Can you integrate the 2 columns kind of like the arrangement of text on the poster? i think it might help make it look less busy.

we'd like the spotlights to be bigger if possible.

Can you include some sort of element or graphic so that it is immediately clear without reading all the text what the flyer is about? Nothing too cutesy though....ie teddy bears & pacifyers we're going for a bit more of a sophisticated feel...

Also, do you think the spacing is ok for mailing? or would some of the spotlights be covered by post office marks?

Oops! sorry! My mistake with the teddy bear! :P
There are 2 options of the front (change the place of the date)
The dimensions of the spotlight spaces are 1,6x1,85.

I downloaded a template for postcards from www.psprint.com.
I attach to you the back with the template above so you could see that all the information require is located correctly.
Also I think that the space for the mailing address it must have white background so I didn´t put a color background.

FYI:
The main focus of the flyer is the baby fair in sept but we want people to know who we are and about our regular sales too.

We really like what you've done with the flyer. Just a few things.

Can we see a couple of different options for the image. I like what you have but think that maybe it looks a little off with the belly coming out in the middle. The two curves, the line and then the belly, going in different directions seems a little awkward. The placement of the teddy bears looks great but it isn't the kind of look we're going for (too cute). Can we see the image you have moved out a little more so we can see more of it and then also a version with it moved along the left edge of the flyer facing the other direction? We'd also like to see other images maybe a baby?

We'd also like to see fewer different colors on the front. Can we make the swoosh (curved line) the darker turquois blue and the two other blue areas the color the swoosh is now?

We are concerned that anyone reading the flyer will think that every date listed is a Baby Fair and they are not. Most of them are just clothing sales. Can you change the heading to:

Maybe the About us should be on the front with the schedule on the back? I really like it on the front but it may be confusing.
If you need more room it doesn't have to say the SF birth & baby fair on the back

Also can we have only 6 spotlight areas and preferable rectangulars that are longer in length than height

Hi! I made some changes on the mailer.:)

I change the curved line's direction and now it's going to belly's.
I think fits better than the other curved line.
I changed the belly's image because what you saw it's all the image are and i have no rest for moving a little more. So i picked two new images.

Hi! I think is better to post the changes on this forum :)

The dimensions of the spotlight spaces are 2,3x1,25 in.
I attached the changes with first image that we chose, giving it shades and resistances and changing the color of the flower too.

It was a tough decision because both the white and original turned out so great. But I think we are going to go with the white. It looks much better after you added the shading. Thanks! :tup:

Here are the minor revisions. I think after this we should be set:

1. the quotation marks around "the fashionista's place ...... Clothing" should be inside the period not outside

2. I think we like the logo better in the middle. Let me know if you need us to shorten the text to do this

3. on the back - sorry but we gave the wrong dates for the Mom's fest it should be Sept 27th NOT the 23rd.

4. some of the dates have th after them and some don't and nov 1 st has a space and the rest don't, can they all be the same please?

5. Dec 6th sale doesn't have the address the rest do, can you add: 1881 Ygnacio Valley Rd

6. can we add "sales 11am - 4pm unless otherwise noted" ? near sale & event schedule

7. can we make "ready to sell" just brown bold not orange

8. can we separate admission price & contact info with the old dashed line

1-print_maternityx: contains one .eps file for the front and one .eps file for the back and a folder with the images although already they are embebed in the eps file.

2-postcardstnd_6x11: contains the postcard 11x6 template extracted from Psprint web, just in case you need for check the final files.

Also I prepared a txt file with all the file specs.

Please tell me if you need the files in another format or if we need to change something ! :)
