Hi,

I am part of a team called Fayetteville Freedom Flyers. We are a flyball team. That is a relay race with dogs. We are based in North Carolina. The sport includes tennis balls, hurdle (jumps), dogs, and a box that releases the ball (here is a link with pictures... to give you an idea). http://flyballdogs.com/photos/

We are looking for a logo for our new team. Something that we can put on shirts, chairs, pins, bumper stickers, bags, banners, jackets, sweatshirts, polo shirts, caps, doggie bandanas our website and etc.!! Since it will be printed and even stitched on shirts we need something a bit simple.... but enough to get our team idea across.

We would like our logo to include: a dog, possibly having the dog in a jumping or full sprint position... a tennis ball (maybe try some with it in the dogs mouth and then some without a tennis ball)... and an American flag (in the background... maybe with the dog jumping over a flag or in front of it....). We would like our name (Fayetteville Freedom Flyers) to be included in our logo... and we'd like some shown with "FFF". That is short for our team name and we will be using "FFF" more so at tournaments. So lets see some logos with Fayetteville Freedom Flyers and FFF. We would also like our logo to have the red, white and blue colors in it as well.

Thats all I can think of for now. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. We'd like the project to be done in a week or two! thanks!!

We want to carry this logo for as long as the team is around and use it for products such as shirts and etc.

Please describe your existing audience:
There are two kinds of "audiences" in flyball
--Competitive dog loving humans with athletic dogs who have a need for speed.
--Dog loving humans who simply like to spend time with their dogs.
--Reguardless of which personality they are, fun and the dogs well being comes first.


Who would you like to add to your audience?
--A competitive audience.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
--One that portrays speed, embodies the sport, and "freedom" or "partriotic theme"

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
red, white, and blue- black also.... we are the Freedom Flyers so we want the American flag in there somewhere. Patriotic colors. You could do the text in a different color though- we are pretty open for suggestions

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
The American flag, a dog running or jumping, and a tennis ball in the dogs mouth

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
professional, competetive sprirts, and fun

What is your tagline or slogan?
none

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
We are a team that loves our dogs, loves to have fun and is ready to "bring the heat" when its time to compete

Where will your new logo be used?
--Printed and/or embroidered on shirts, jackets, travel bags, caps, stickers, and more

-there are many competitors. I think they are all simple yet portray what the team is all about.... that just what we want for our team

What sets you apart from your competitors?
We are new and just getting started. Nobody knows who we are yet. We want to come into tournaments and everyone look at our logo and be like "WOW, who are they?"- we want to look like a team!

Sorry it has taken so longto respond to your logo! I had to get a team vote and hear everyones ideas about it. Everyone loves the logo!! We have a few things we would like to be "tweaked" but for the most part... its EXACTLY what we were looking for!!

Things we'd like to see "tweaked":
1. We'd like to see a different dog. Maybe one that is more athletic looking.
2. Make the dog look faster- like he is running in full sprint!

Thats all the ideas we had. After those changes- we should able to close the deal! thanks so much! looking forward to seeing the new version!!

Thanks for the two new posts! We did a team vote and everyone likes #2 the best. The team came up with 2 things they want changed on #2 but after that... we should be done! The two things are:
1. Move "Freedome Flyers" down so that the "d" in Freedom can be seen all the way
2. Move the dogs head upward so he looks like he is looking straight forward at his target!

Thats all the changes that they asked for and then we should be done! Everyone loved #2!!! We are so excited about it! thanks!!
