Please describe your existing audience

more of the same
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
a simplistic logo with a design element that stands alone. It can be modern or old world. It is a high tech business, but I also like the hand-crafted idea, so I am torn.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
my current are grey and orange, but I am open to change

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
I have considered a drawing compass, but I am open to designer interpretation

Hand-crafted, customized

Craftingflexible voice, but I am considering changing it to Crafting Business Solutions, or Hand-crafted Communications

vonage.com
speakeasy.net
cbeyond.com
I like the simplicity of the speakeasy logo
List competitive URLs if possible
See above
What sets you apart from your competitors?
Personalized service. The fact that we evaulate the clients needs and suggest applications that will help them to function the most effectively. We can provide solutions that allow employees at the office, at home, or even in another country to transfer calls between each other, or intercom as if they were in the same office.
Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Hand-crafted communications

Thank you for contributing. I think I want the design element to incorporate a hand-crafted "artisan" feel. That's why I was considering a drawing compass. I am open to other ideas, but I want the design element itself to have a meaning or to portray more than the business name. Does that make sense?

I like where this is going. My concern about the compass is the way is presented, it may represent a drafting firm or something. This may be the case with a compass in general. I realize I did suggest the compass but that is where I have reservations I'd love to see if there was a way to utilize a different Artisan tool that may depict hand crafted or more of an "Artisan" feel. Or some way to show the compass in different fashion that depicts the feel. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks everyone. I like what you are coming up with.

Xpressions... I like the direction you went. Can we try using a chisel for the "I" instead of the compass for the "a". I still would like the element to be able to stand alone. I also would like to see it with "handcrafted communications" as the tagline.

I am still open to any new ideas or submissions.

Thanks again, keep them coming.

Thank you for the feedback. Here is a version replacing the compass with a chisel:

Thank you. Can I see it with more of an antique chisel? Or an image with more dimension.

actually on version 1.0, can I just see that with Handcrafted Communications, and maybe a more antique compass (more sketched or dimension)? I think I like that one more....
thanks again

My apologies for the delay. Not sure what an antique one looks like. Could you possibly show a picture?

I guess not necessarily antique, just more sketched, less modern. I would like more dimension in the compass... shadowing, lines, etc. Does that help?

Oh, I see. Yes. That helps. I will make a revision and post by morning.

Giant, I like version 5, but not sure about the font. I understand that the font goes with the design element, but are there any other choices that would flow well with that element? I would also love to see version 6 with the font from version 4, and losing the top piece of the design element to make it a little shorter. We are getting there.

Giant, is there a way to do your last version with a font that has the A as a capital but the rest of the name in lower case? Just trying to see a few more options here....

Thanks

ok, giant...I am going with one of these last ones. The last change I would like to see is...5.1 with the N the same size as the A.
Version 5.4c with the element smaller in relation to the text like it is on 5.3, and 5.4c with the element on top like it is in 5.1.

I think I can make my final decision when I see these changes.
Thanks so much for your work!

I will also like to have the font name and a layered file whn I make the final decision...will that work? Also, wanted to confirm that the design element is original artwork.

Giant,
I believe we have it. 5.5 b/c. I will need the following. Vector file for the design element, vector file for 5.5b, and the layered file for 5.5b, the font name. Are we good?

giant

Brian, Thank You for choosing my idea... :)
by the way what do you mean about 5.5b/c? do you want both version or just 5.5b version?

I have sent you a private message (PM).
