Hello, this contest is to create a logo for a new software product we're launching called Print Audit Embedded. This is software that runs directly on photocopiers, so I think the logo should have a picture of a photocopier panel. Most photocopier panels have a similar look -- an lcd screen and a large green button to the right of it.

Here's an icon we had made for one of our products. I think the panel part of the logo could look similar but smaller. You don't need the hand or buttons on the left side.

Also the logo should be consistent with this logo we made for another one of our products. The left side of the logo (Copy Audit) should be unchanged, you're only changing the icon and product name on the right side.

Offbeat, I like the style and colors however I would like to make the panel about 30% less wide. You can do this by removing some of the bottoms. I would place the large button right beside the lcd screen and just have a couple of buttons on top of it. I prefer 1b. Also the large button should probably be green. Thanks!

Offbeat, that's better, you could try making the screen a bit bigger and the bottoms on the right a bit smaller. Can you try making the word Embedded bigger too?

Krishm, looks good but is too wide, can you make it about 30% less wide... you can do so by removing the buttons on the left side, making the screen a bit narrower and making the section on the right with the buttons a bit smaller.

Offbeat, I think yours looks a bit too much like a tv now. We may have to add more bottoms above the big one.

Krishm, Can you try making the panel in your version 03 a bit smaller. Also can you try some different fonts?

Offbeat, I think you should make your screen a bit wider, so it looks more like a widescreen format rather than 4:3 format. So by this I mean make the screen a little wider and a little less high. Stick with the gray version of the screen for now. Although I would make the font a darker green like you had before.

Krishm, can you try a font like we used in the Touch logo.

I'd like to try some different things with this contest. I think just using an icon of a copier panel is lacking something -- i needs more of a warm fuzzy element. I'm wondering if something similar to the attached Print Audit green logo could work -- with the leaf being replaced with an icon of a photocopier or a copier panel. Alternatively an outline of a person using a copier could work too instead of just a copier panel.

Regarding my post #32, it might be easier if you put the round Print Audit 5 logo on top of the copier, rather than the copier on the 5 logo like it is in the Print Audit Green logo i posted.

Krishm, in your design 03b, can you try putting the round part of the Print Audit 5 logo onto the LCD screen? Perhaps the round part of the Print Audit 5 logo could be faded a bit or made white so that only an outline of it appears.

Offbeat, interesting but it looks too busy. What we need to do is find some cool, clean way of depicting Print Audit 5 running on a photocopier. You're on the right track... but I think your copier panel looks too much like a tv or microwave. We have to find a simpler way to do this.

OK, I think I know what we need to do with this contest. Let's scrap the idea of including the round 5 logo. What if we just showed the top of a photocopier, or just the top half, including the lcd panel, and made the lcd panel glow in some cool way to symbolize our software running on it.

Krishm you could try the above idea with your version 04. I like your copier in that picture -- it just needs to be spruced up a bit.

Krishm, i think you changed the design too much. I would stay closer to your version 04 but make the lcd blue like you did here... maybe the copier could be made shorter than it is in 04, or the bottom could be faded, allowing you to make the top a bit bigger.

Guetizo, version 4 is probably the best. You could also try taking the Round logo that's in the Green logo I posted above and replacing the middle part that has the 5 on it with the copier button. Remove the leaf too of course.

Guetiz, try taking the regular PA5 logo, with the green leaf on it, remove the leaf and replace it with a small round green copier button... similar to what you did in #70 but don't make the small icon transparent.

The problem with the top version is that it looks more like a ball than a button, because of the shine effect. Can you try moving the symbol back down to the center and take the middle version of the logo and just give it a slight shine effect. Also it looks like you shifted the 5 to the left a bit .. move it back to center.

I prefer the color of version 16, but the button on version 17 looks a bit smaller which i prefer. Can you move the 5 to the right slightly? It doesn't look like it's centered horizontally.
